Lichtsender und-empfänger sind in der Messkammerrechtwinklig angeordnet, sodass dasLichtbündel des Senders nicht direktauf den Empfänger treffen kann.Erst das an Rauch gestreute Licht(Tyndall-Effekt) gelangt zum Empfängerund wird in ein elektrischesSignal umgewandelt. Erreicht diesesden Alarmwert, wird automatisch einAlarm zur Zentrale übermittelt. Durcheine Vorwarnstufe wird der Melderständig auf Verschmutzung überwachtund meldet seinen Zustanddauernd an die Zentrale. Durch dieseEigenüberwachung ist garantiert,dass der Melder optimal funktioniert.Die Melderempfindlichkeit passtsich an die im Raum herrschendenUmgebungstemperaturen an undregelt automatisch die Rauchempfindlichkeit(Cubus Nivellierung).AnschlussDer SecuriStar ® Melder hat einenintegrierten Anschluss an die multifunktionaleRingleitung SecuriLine ® ,welche die Aufschaltung von max.127 Adressen erlaubt.Ein Isolier-Trennschalter im SCD 573sorgt dafür, dass ein Unterbruch oderein Kurzschluss im Ring im Bereichdes Schadens aufgetrennt wird.Dadurch wird gewährleistet, dassdie Melder auf der SecuriLine ®auch bei einem Schaden in derInstallation uneingeschränkt weiterfunktionieren.Fonction et applicationLe SCD 573 (pour Smoke CriteriaDetector ou détecteur de fuméemultidétecteurs) détecte rapidementles feux couvants, les feux de braiseset les feux ouverts avec dégagementde fumée. Seule la lumière diffuséesur de la fumée (effet de Tyndall)atteint le récepteur et est transforméeen un signal électrique. Si ce signalatteint la valeur d’alarme, une alarmeest envoyée automatiquement à lacentrale. Grâce à un niveau de préalarme,le niveau d’encrassement dudétecteur est surveillé en permanenceet le détecteur signale en permanenceson état à la centrale. Cette autosurveillancegarantit le fonctionnementoptimal du détecteur. La sensibilité dudétecteur s’adapte automatiquementaux températures ambiantes de lapièce et règle automatiquement lasensibilité à la fumée (nivellement deCubus).RaccordementCe détecteur SecuriStar ® disposed’un connecteur intégré pour laconnexion à la boucle généralemultifonctionnelle SecuriLine ® , quipermet de raccorder jusqu’à max.127 adresses.Un interrupteur-sectionneur isolé,dans le SCD 573, veille à ce que touteinterruption ou tout court-circuit restelimité à la zone endommagée. Celapermet aux détecteurs de la Securi-Line ® de continuer à fonctionnersans restriction en cas de dommagesà l’installation.Function and UseThe SCD 573 (Smoke CriteriaDetector) provides early detectionof smouldering, glowing and openfires with smoke development.Light transmitters and receiversare arranged at right angles in thesampling chamber to prevent thelight beam of the transmitter fromstriking the receiver directly. First, thesmoke-scattered light (Tyndall effect)reaches the receiver and then isconverted into an electrical signal. Ifit reaches the alarm value, an alarmis sent automatically to the controlunit. An advance warning stageconstantly monitors the detector forcontamination and communicatesits condition to the control unit. Thisself-monitoring feature guaranteesthat the detector functions optimally.Detector sensitivity adapts to theprevailing ambient temperatures inthe area and automatically regulatessmoke sensitivity (Cubus Adaptation).ConnectionThe SecuriStar ® detector has anintegrated connection to the multifunctionalSecuriLine ® ring circuit towhich up to 127 addresses can beconnected.An isolating switch in the SCD 573ensures that an interruption orshort-circuit in the ring in the areaof the damage is isolated, guaranteeingthat the detectors on theSecuriLine ® continue to functionunimpeded even if there is damagein the installation.
