USER’S MANUAL. <strong>TV</strong> EXPLORER <strong>HD</strong> <strong>ATSC</strong>5.10 Acquisition function (Datalogger)The Datalogger function allows the user to carry out and store measurements in afully automatic way. It can store for each acquisition the measurements made in differentpoints of the installation. The measurements made are relevant to the current analogueor digital channel, in the active channel plan.To select the Datalogger function, activate the UTILITIES[22] menu andselect the RUN DATALOGGER option. Later, by turning the rotary selector [1]select a previously stored acquisition (for instance, if you want to keep makingmeasurements on a different point test but in the same installation) or a NEWDATALOGGER.Figure 12.- DATALOGGER screen.During analogue channel measuring process, a percentage counter appears at thebottom of the screen showing the percentage of channel measurement done. In the caseof digital channels, appears a timer showing time left to finish in seconds. At the top leftcorner appears the channel being measured followed by the total amount of channels inthe current channel plan.In order to select a field on the datalogger screen (Test point and dataloggername), press the arrow[6] key and then edit it by pressing the rotary selector[1].After selecting the START field the instrument begins to carry out the availablemeasurements automatically. Once completed, the process will be ready to repeat again(START) (for example, for a new test point), or view measured data by selecting thechannel and turning the rotary selector(SAVE) or exit from this acquisition (EXIT).[1], or store the information in memoryPage 36 03/2012
