Itook training courses with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers and became aregistered healing practitioner in 1998.“In 2000 I began to deliver workshops in health and healing with a group of peoplewho became the core members of the Healing Group, which now, 9 years later, meetstwice a month in the Chaplaincy Centre of the main hospital in the Scottish Borders,to offer healing to the staff, patients and general public.“I became a registered tutor with the NFSH in 2003, and deliver courses on SpiritualHealing on a regular basis, as well as organising the Healing Group Sessions andworking as a Ward Visitor with patients in the Palliative CareUnit of the Hospital.”Christina published Energy Healing: The Practical Workbook in 2008. It is ahands-on book that equips the reader with clear guidelines about the processof spiritual healing. Christina explained: “The idea for the book came from a friend.As a trained nurse with experience working in the NHS, as well as my experience asa Tutor in Further Education, supported by many years of spiritual education withthe Beshara School, my friend believed that I had been given the right ingredientsto produce a book about the essential principles and practice of Spiritual Healing.Writing the book was a real learning process and I needed a lot of help, fromprofessional editors and ultimately from my husband, Paul, in order to complete it.“I believe that everyone has the potential to be a healing practitioner; it is a universalgift that some people develop and others don’t.
