L’originalité de cette race réside dans son pelage
beaucoup plus court que celui du lapin ordinaire ce qui
donne une fourrure homogène, dense, à implantation
droite, semblable à du velours.

Genuine rex rabbit, known for its downy fur. The
originality of this breed comes from its hair coat which is
much more shorter than the ordinary rabbit one. Its fur is
homogeneous, dense, straight-lined, similar to velvet.
