Quelles sont les contraintes qui entravent la mise en
œuvre de projets environnementaux à Madagascar?
Quels sont les efforts à faire pour y remédier tant au
niveau de l'Etat qu'au niveau des citoyens? Quelles
sont les actions à entreprendre pour que Madagascar
redevienne «L’île verte »?
Pour beaucoup, l’urgence n’est pas à l’environnement
ou alors l’environnement se résume à la protection de
la biodiversité. Pourtant la thématique est transversale
et la grande majorité de nos populations dépendent de
ressources naturelles pour leur survie. Il est devenu urgent
d’avoir cette prise de conscience, de penser nos politiques
sous un angle de durabilité. C’est pourquoi un fort accent
doit être mis à la fois sur l’éducation environnementale
mais également sur des modèles économiques plus
verts. Nous ne parlons pas encore assez d’économie
verte, d’économie bleue, d’économie sociale et solidaire ou
d’économie circulaire, même au niveau des universités. Les
emplois verts et la diffusion d’alternatives durables doivent
être une priorité pour le développement de notre pays.
What are the constraints that hinder the
implementation of environmental projects in
Madagascar? What efforts need to be made to remedy
them at both the State and citizen levels? What
actions need to be taken to make Madagascar the
'Green Island' again?
For many, the urgency is not for the environment, but
it comes down to the protection of biodiversity. Yet the
issue is a cross-cutting one and the vast majority of
our populations depend on natural resources for their
survival. It has become urgent to have this awareness,
to think our policies from a sustainability perspective.
This is why a strong emphasis must be placed both on
environmental education and on greener economic
models. We still do not talk enough about the green
economy, the blue economy, the social and solidarity
economy or the circular economy, even at university
level. Green jobs and the dissemination of sustainable
alternatives must be a priority for the development of
our country.
