GROUTING AND SEALING
The use of epoxy grouts and sealers is possible with all our
products.
We recommend the following brands in particular: DESVRES,
MAPEI or LITHOKOL.
They have many advantages for wet areas (bathroom,
shower cubicle), terraces, counter tops, private swimming
pools or ponds:
- The colours do not fade in time.
- The sealers protect against stains, bacteria, molds and
acids, they are waterproof and do not crack.
Nevertheless their application requires following the
manufacturers’ advice meticulously for installation.
Performing a test on a small clean and dry area before full
treatment is mandatory.
Fair natural stone can become irreversibly stained.
Epoxy grout / sealant "treats" the surface and revives the
colours. For any grouts and sealers, before grouting natural
stone, Pre-treatment with BO Protect or BO Protect Plus is
necessary.
