Jaime Lusk, Chief Administrative Officer
Welcome to the inaugural edition of our Onis
newsletter! We look forward to providing you with
this newsletter monthly to share information about
new and existing projects, upcoming events, and
operational updates. The team will be sharing short
biographies of your co-workers so you can learn more
about those that you work with daily as well as those
on other teams that you pass regularly at the coffee
bar. Please share any requests for information to
be included in upcoming editions and let us know if
you would like to contribute to a future section. We
look forward to your inputs and hope you enjoy your
reading!
An Update from
Delivery
Edwin Solis, President Latin America
As we start the second half of 2022, I’m happy to
share that we are supporting new clients throughout
our service areas on a range of high-priority projects
and with a growth of about 50% in our workforce in
Mexico compared to the beginning of the year.
Recently we started a project of 40+ resources and
were able to staff it on time for the start of the project,
thank you to our HR and Recruitment team for the
hard work.
There will be new challenges coming but I know we
have the right team to take care of them.

We are collaborating in the development of the
Center of Excellence (COE) development and

aim of forming a group of certified consultants

The best way to respond to an emergency is to be
prepared before it happens. Few people can think clearly
and logically in a crisis, so it is important to do so in
advance when you have time to be thorough. For this
reason, we trained a team of employees and created the
First Aid and Emergency Management Committee.

Muscle Relaxation
Play some relaxation music
Sit back or lie down in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes if you’re comfortable doing so.
Beginning at your feet, notice how your muscles
feel. Are they tense, or relaxed?
Tightly tense the muscles in your feet by curling
your toes. Hold the tension for 5-10 seconds.
Release the tension from your feet and allow
them to relax. Notice how different the states of
tension and relaxation feel.
Move up your body, repeating the cycle of
tensing and relaxing each group of muscles.
Practice this daily.
Relaxation skills are excellent tools to
treat stress, anxiety, and anger. In
addition to being easy to use,
relaxation techniques are some of
the few tools that offer an immediate
sense of relief from the symptoms of
distress.
PMR works by increasing awareness
of the tension occurring in the body
during stress, and then consciously
releasing said tension. This process
creates a feeling of relaxation—both
physically and
emotionally.
