≤ Wo einst Hochöfen, Hüttenwerke
und Zechen das Leben zeichneten,
entstehen heute urbane Strukturen,
die Kultur und Natur, Arbeiten und
Freizeit miteinander verbinden. Die
Stadt Oberhausen lockt mit kultureller
Vielfalt im Areal der Landesgar -
ten ausstellung. Hier spielen vier Fuß -
gängerbrücken eine zentrale Rolle
als funktionale Bauplastiken, sie vereinen
das Gebiet über Kanäle und
Autobahn hinweg.

furnaces, iron and steel works has
today given way to urban structures
which unite culture and nature,
work and leisure. The town of Oberhausen
attracts visitors with a cultural
programme on the grounds of
the regional horticultural exhibition.
Four pedestrian bridges play a central
role here as functional architectural
sculptures; they connect the
various areas of the site over canals
and the motorway.
≤ Là où jadis il y avait les hauts-four -
neaux, les aciéries et les houillères,
des structures urbaines voient le
jour, dans lesquelles culture, nature,
travail et temps libre sont intimement
liés. Ober hausen attire par sa
diversité culturelle, notamment par
son exposition de jardins d’architecture
de paysages régionaux. Quatre
ponts piétonniers, œuvres d’arts
plastiques fonctionnelles, jouent ici
un rôle central; ils relient le terrain,
au delà des ca naux et de l’autoroute.
