Setelah melakukan review secara terpadu<br />

mengenai keselamatan dalam operasi kami<br />

di Kong Hong pada tahun 2011, kami saat<br />

ini se<strong>dan</strong>g melipatgandakan upaya kami<br />

untuk melindungi orang-orang kami <strong>dan</strong><br />

memastikan lingkungan kerja yang aman<br />

dengan menerapkan Strategi 5 Pilar <strong>dari</strong><br />

Next Step Change Strive for L·I·F·E (Strive for<br />

L·I·F·E Next Step Change 5 Pillar Strategy).<br />

Dua acara peluncuran berhasil dilaksanakan<br />

pada bulan Februari <strong>dan</strong> Maret. Acara<br />

tersebut dihadiri oleh ratusan tamu, termasuk<br />

para pejabat pemerintah, konsultan klien,<br />

subkontraktor <strong>dan</strong> perwakilan industri, serta<br />

lebih <strong>dari</strong> 1.200 staf kami sendiri. Melalui<br />

acara peluncuran ini, kami menyampaikan<br />

hal-hal yang telah kami pelajari sejak<br />

diterapkannya prakarsa keselamatan<br />

Strive for L·I·F·E pada November 2009<br />

<strong>dan</strong> yang se<strong>dan</strong>g kami lakukan untuk<br />

mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang saat<br />

ini se<strong>dan</strong>g kami hadapi bersamaan dengan<br />

bertumbuhnya bisnis kami.<br />

Fokus <strong>dari</strong> Next Step Change kami<br />

kedepannya adalah penerapan proses<br />

Strategi Lima Pilar, yang meliputi<br />

Pembelajaran, Hal-hal Dasar, Pengelolaan<br />

Resiko, Pengaturan Proyek, <strong>dan</strong> Kerangka<br />

Kerja SMS yang disederhanakan.<br />

Pembelajaran mendorong orang<br />

untuk melaporkan setiap insiden <strong>dan</strong><br />

kemungkinannya agar kita dapat belajar<br />

<strong>dari</strong> kejadian-kejadian tersebut. Hal-hal<br />

dasar memberikan prinsip panduan <strong>dan</strong><br />

standar tolak ukur untuk menghilangkan<br />

resiko Kelas 1 melalui pengendalian yang<br />

kuat. Pengelolaan Resiko berfokus pada<br />

penghilangan resiko Kelas 1 melalui proses<br />

pengelolaan resiko yang sederhana <strong>dan</strong><br />

efektif. Pengaturan Proyek dengan jelas<br />

menentukan peranan, tanggung jawab,<br />

<strong>dan</strong> akuntabilitas khusus <strong>dan</strong> membantu<br />

pengawas proyek di garis depan untuk<br />

memahami apa yang perlu dilakukan<br />

untuk melaksanakan pekerjaan dengan<br />

selamat. Kerangka Kerja SMS digunakan<br />

untuk mengurangi jumlah pekerjaan yang<br />

menggunakan kertas <strong>dan</strong> memberikan<br />

kepada staf kami akses yang telah<br />

disederhanakan terhadap sistem-sistem<br />

pengelolaan utama kami.<br />

Business Unit 2 Supervisor Role* - Strive for Life Expectations Charter<br />

IN MY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY, I WILL:<br />

1. Provide visible leadership that engages and enables all my work crew and demonstrates my<br />

commitment to continuously improving safety performance.<br />

2. Address all issues raised by my work crew and provide timely feedback in a consultative manner.<br />

3. Report to work fit for duty without impairment from alcohol, illicit drugs, fatigue or other such<br />

influences.<br />

4. Ensure that all activities are identified, planned, executed and reviewed in accor<strong>dan</strong>ce with<br />

Business Unit 2 – Project Class 1 Risk Management register.<br />

5. Conduct daily pre-start meetings in a planned and structured manner delivering a clear safety<br />

message.<br />

6. Ensure the atten<strong>dan</strong>ce of all employees identified for safety training in my team.<br />

7. Ensure that all my crew are competent for the tasks that they are undertaking.<br />

8. Report all incidents to the next level of management immediately and actively participate, review<br />

and implement the investigation outcomes & recommendations.<br />

9. Monitor the performance of contractors and suppliers in the workplace ensuring compliance with<br />

the Project – Safety Management Plan.<br />

10. Participate in all relevant safety related training (including Strive for Life).<br />

11. Actively support and provide assistance in the rehabilitation of employees absent from work.<br />

12. Ensure safety performance is integrated into the performance assessment of my team.<br />

13. Ensure that all safety matters are communicated and clearly understood at handover to other work<br />

teams (Nightshift to dayshift for example, or work team to work team)<br />

performance and encouraging employee participation in workplace safety initiatives.<br />

2. Report to work fit for duty without impairment from alcohol, illicit drugs, fatigue or other such<br />

influences.<br />

3. Provide the necessary resources and training to implement the LAL/Project – Safety Management<br />

Plan.<br />

4. Ensure that a project/business specific Class 1 Risk Assessment is created, implemented and<br />

reviewed on a monthly basis and after all Class 1, Potential Class 1 and LTI incidents.<br />

5. Ensure that an effective system is implemented across the project/business to capture and monitor<br />

all corrective actions recorded at pre-start, toolbox, workplace audits, incident investigations etc.<br />

and is updated and reported monthly.<br />

6. Ensure that safety issues are discussed at all management team meetings and that outcomes are<br />

take the necessary disciplinary actions for non-compliance.<br />

7. Implement a Strive for Life Expectations Charter for all staff, review and monitor adherence and<br />
