carburanti, anche in collaborazione con altri laboratori italiani 

e stranieri.

La SYNECO produce un vasta gamma di prodotti, indirizzando 

la propria produzione verso la qualità assoluta, dai 

lubrificanti per motori Diesel e benzina a quelli per motori a 

2 tempi, oli per circuiti idraulici, additivi e prodotti speciali 

per l'industria, l'agricoltura e per il movimento terra. 

IL MARKETING 

La SYNECO opera nel mercato avvalendosi di moderne 

strategie, articolando la sua struttura commerciale attraverso 

ben definiti canali di vendita, il più importante dei 

quali è quello della Rete dei Concessionari Syneco, dando 

la massima importanza alle attività di comunicazione, pubblicità 

e promozione.

nazionale e distribuendo i prodotti Syneco in Italia e

I Concessionari SYNECO sono organizzati in modo tale da

Modern blending plants have a huge productive capacity 

and are, therefore, capable of meeting all kinds of 

demands. 

A strong point of SYNECO is the chemical -physical testing 

laboratory, equipped with the most sophisticated devices 

for the testing and checking of the quality of lubricants, 

additives and fuels. 

The lab also takes advantage of the collaboration with 

other Italian and foreign laboratories. 

THE PRODUCTS 

SYNECO manufactures a wide range of products, with a 

single goal in mind: top quality. This applies to gasoline and 

Diesel engine lubricants as much as to two-stroke engine 

lubricants, additives and special products for use in industry, 

agriculture and earth-moving equipment. 

MARKETING 

SYNECO avails of the most modern marketing strategies, 

by articulating its business structure through well-defined 

sales channels, the most important of which is the Syneco 

Dealer Network, and by emphasizing activities such as 

communication, advertising and promotions.

Over 40 SYNECO Dealers operate throughout the country 

and see to the distribution of Syneco products over the

has introduced a predictive assistance service, called 

SYNECO CHECK-UP, and an inspection and monitoring service, 

referred to as SYNECO-TEST. 

Through these two initiatives, featuring a full set of direct 

inspections and laboratory tests, SYNECO is in the best 

possible position to provide data and advice concerning

Unità di filtrazione 

ALWAYS CLEAN 

L’unità di filtrazione ALWAYS CLEAN, costituita da un gruppo motopompa ed un filtro, 

viene installata in ricircolo al serbatoio esistente. 

Il funzionamento è autonomo e può essere impiegata per il caricamento e rabbocchi di 

olio nuovo. 

Il compito principale è di mantenere la pulizia dell’olio entro lo standard di contaminazione 

ISO 4406 definito 

E’ consigliabile l’impiego dopo interventi di manutenzione prima dell’avviamento della 

macchina. 

E’ disponibile nella grandezza di: 

40 lt./1’ per serbatoi di capacità fino a 800 lt. 

80 lt./1’ per serbatoi di capacità fino a 1200 lt. 

I manometri posti sulla facciata superiore indicano il valore d’intasamento dell’elemento 

filtrante. 

Il gruppo motopompa è in sicurezza idraulica ed elettrica.

The filtering unit composed by a motor-driven pump and a filter is installed for recirculation on the existing tank. 

Its operation is autonomous and it can be used to load and top up new oil. The main purpose is to keep oil clean according to the ISO 4406 contamination 

standard.Use is recommended after maintenance and before start-up. 

It is available in the following sizes:

The pressure gauges on the top panel measure the clogging value of the filtering element.

Elemento filtrante SY45H: 

L’elemento filtrante in microfibra tipo SY45H costituito da due setti filtranti, 

prefiltro e filtro finale, è il risultato dell’ottimizzazione dei materiali più evoluti 

per la filtrazione degli olii. 

L’omogeneità delle porosità della microfibra, la resistenza alla pressione differenziale 

e l’accurata costruzione dello stesso elemento filtrante permettono 

l’ottenimento di rapporti Beta e capacità di accumulo di elevate prestazioni. 

I risultati rilevati al banco Multi-Pass-Test, con procedure in accordo alla ISO 

16889, confermano un rendimento assoluto sulle particelle (rapporto Beta) 

ß 7,5 (c)>1000 pari ad una efficienza del 99,90% sulle particelle > di 7,5μ.. 

L’elemento filtrante tipo SY45H è dunque indicatto per la pulizia di olii per 

applicazioni severe, inoltre, grazie al setto filtrante Acqua Sorb è in grado di 

trattenere l’acqua libera. 

Le caratteristiche dell’elemento filtrante, tipo SY45H fanno dell’unità di filtraggio 

Always Clean un abbinamento ideale che esalta, nella filtrazione di 

oli sintetici serie LD a base di polialfaolefine (PAO), le caratteristiche di elevata 

filtrabilità, alto potere demulsivo, air elease e di lunga durata.

Il “SERVICE 2000 Professional Consulting” è un servizio di consulenza 

tecnica che si basa sull’analisi chimico/fisica di un campione di olio usato, 

prelevato direttamente dal macchinario in lavoro, senza fermare il ciclo produttivo. 

Il campione di olio usato, e per confronto un campione di olio uguale, ma 

nuovo, verranno analizzati e sottoposti ad una serie di test di laboratorio 

standard, quali: 

• FT.IR - (per l’identificazione delle basi costituenti e per rilevare gli agenti 

contaminanti); 

• Titolazioni - (TAN; TBN; KF); 

• PLASMA - (controllo dei metalli e dei pacchetti di additivazione) 

• Comparazione - (olio nuovo e usato) 

• Analisi metallografica. 

Valutate le caratteristiche dell’olio campione, nelle due situazioni 

nuovo/usato, verrà stilata la scheda tecnica. A questo punto, il laboratorio 

SYNECO formulerà un prodotto specifico sostitutivo. 

Il nuovo fluido lubrificante SYNECO sarà sottoposto ad una serie di prove 

pratiche che ricreano le medesime situazioni di lavoro. 

Al termine della prova, il fluido SYNECO sarà sottoposto agli stessi test di 

laboratorio standard e stilata una nuova scheda tecnica. 

Le due schede tecniche degli oli usati verranno confrontate per dimostrare 

l’idoneità di impiego e le caratteristiche migliorative del fluido SYNECO. 

Il prodotto SYNECO sarà monitorato con “Service CHECK-UP” e l’elaborazione 

dei dati raccolti potrà fornire in tempo reale lo stato di salute dell’organo 

meccanico.

“SERVICE 2000 Professional Consulting” is a technical consulting service based 

on the chemical/ physical analysis of a used oil sample, taken directly from the 

machine while in use without stopping the production cycle. 

The sample of used oil and for comparison a sample of the same but new oil will be 

analysed and submitted to a series of standard laboratory tests, such as: 

• FT.IR – (to identify the basic components and to detect any contaminating 

agents); 

• TITRATIONS - (TAN; TBN;KF); 

• PLASMA – ( checking of metals and additive packages); 

• COMPARISON (new and used oil); 

• METALLOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS (scanning by means of electronic microscope). 

Once the technical characteristics have been evaluated both for the new and the old 

sample, we will issue a technical sheet. Then the SYNECO laboratory will formulate 

a specific substitute product. 

A series of practical tests simulating the same operation conditions will be carried 

out on the new SYNECO lubricant fluid. After completion of the test the same 

standard laboratory tests will be carried out on the SYNECO fluid and a new 

technical sheet will be issued. 

A comparison will be made between the two technical sheets in order to prove the 

suitability for the application and the ameliorative characteristics of the Syneco 

fluid, which will enable us to achieve higher performances. 

After some time in use a constant monitoring of the SYNECO product will be made 

by means of the “CHECK-UP Service” and by processing the collected data in 

order to get a picture in real time of the conditions of the mechanical part.

1. INTRODUZIONE 

-L’indagine è stata svolta su un elemento pompante del motore per 

determinare le cause del malfunzionamento. 

2. METODO DI ANALISI 

2.1 -Analisi Metallografica svolta per mezzo di telecamera e 

microscopio elettronico. 

2.2 -Analisi chimica effettuata per mezzo dello spettrofotometro FT-IR, 

per determinare la natura del residuo presente sul pezzo. 

3. RISULTATI 

3.1 -Dall’analisi metallografica il pezzo pervenuto mostra evidenti 

tracce di corrosione e usura (fig.1), una guarnizione rotta (fig. 2). 

I fori di iniezione otturati da depositi (fig. 3). 

3.2 Dall’analisi chimica il tracciato I.R del residuo prelevato è 

rapportabile al tipo di carburante impiegato e cioè olio di palma (fig.4). 

4.CONCLUSIONI 

L’elemento pompante presenta tutti i fori totalmente o parzialmente 

otturati da residui. La formazione di questi residui è dovuta alla scarsa 

resistenza all’ossidazione dell’olio di palma e dei combustibili biologici in 

generale. 

Si nota anche presenza di corrosione, sviluppata in conseguenza 

dell’ossidazione del combustibile. 

Da esperienze fatte sul campo risulta che impianti utilizzanti olio di 

girasole puro, come combustibile, arrivavano a 2000 h.l. utili dei 

pompanti mentre impianti utilizzanti olio di palma non superavano 

le 800 h.l. 

Questa differenza è principalmente dovuta alla diversa viscosità e punto 

di fusione tra i due combustibili. 

Una possibile soluzione consiste in un’additivazione dell’olio di palma 

con un pacchetto multifunzionale, detergente e antiossidante, magari 

disperso in biodiesel per non modificare la composizione biologica del 

combustibile e verificare poi con successive ispezioni degli elementi 

pompanti il miglioramento della vita utile.

3. RESULTS 

3.1 –From the metallographic analysis carried out on the piece it is 

clear that the latter shows evident traces of corrosion and wear 

(fig.1), a broken gasket (fig. 2). The injection holes are clogged by 

deposits (fig. 3). 

3.2 The chemical analysis indicates that the I.R. trace of the 

sampled residue is similar to the type of fuel used i.e. palm oil (fig.4). 

4.CONCLUSIONS 

The pumping element holes are all totally or partially clogged by 

residues. The formation of these residues is due to the poor 

resistance to oxidation of palm oil and biological fuels in general. 

It is also important to note the presence of corrosion, developed as a 

result of oxidation of the fuel. 

From field observations it can be seen that plants using pure sun 

flower oil, as fuel, achieve up to 2000 useful pump work hours while 

plants using palm oil did not exceed 800 work hours. 

This difference is mainly due to the different viscosity and melting 

point of the two fuels. 

A possible solution may be provided by adding palm oil with a multi 

functional, detergent and anti-oxidising packet, perhaps dispersed 

in biodiesel to avoid modifying the biological composition of the fuel, 

and then verifying, by means of subsequent inspections of the pum 

ping elements, that there is an improvement in useful life.

The CHECK-UP service, which is supported throughout by SYNECO’s technical 

staff, is managed by the dealers. 

This highly advanced technical servicing system offers a unique way of 

developing a fairly accurate mechanical maintenance schedule, thus cutting 

down-time to a minimum. 

In order to avail of the SYNECO CHECK-UP Service, all you have 

to do is send a sample of the lubricant.

A MINERAL OIL USES POLYMERS OF VARIOUS TYPES TO RAISE ITS VISCO- 

SITY INDEX. THIS POLYMER IS SUBJECT TO “CUTTING” I.E. FUNCTIONAL 

DECAY. 

A POLYMER OF GOOD QUALITY WILL TEND, UNLIKE A CHEAPER ONE, TO 

BE MORE RESISTANT OVER TIME, ENABLING THE OIL TO FLOW OPTIMAL- 

LY WHEN COLD AND ACHIEVE A CORRECT LUBRICANT FILM THICKNESS 

WHEN HOT.

LA PRESENZA DI ZINCO 

La presenza dei polifosfati è tipica dei prodotti idraulici contenenti Zinco e 

che tendono ad ossidarsi precocemente formando la tipica 

patina giallastra che si ritrova sui i filtri. 

Se eccessivamente degradati detti lubrificanti non riescono a fluire attraverso 

il filtro con conseguente problemi di: 

· Mancanza di lubrificazione 

· Cavitazione Pompa 

· Implosione Filtro 

Il diagramma dimostra la trasformazione dell’additivo Zinco in polifosfati 

(fonte Afton Chemical) in poco più di 500 ore. 

THE PRESENCE OF ZINC 

The presence of polyphosphates is typical of hydraulic products containing 

zinc. The same tend to precociously oxidise, forming a typical yellowish 

patina which is found on the filters. 

If excessively degraded the said lubricants do not succeed in flowing through 

the filter, with a consequent problem of: 

· Lack of lubrication 

· Pump cavitation 

· Filter implosion

TRAMONTA IL SOLE 

La Syneco SpA ha sviluppato e messo a punto un nuovo 

processo di lavorazione che ha lo scopo di prolungare 

l’impiego dell’olio in servizio: il Service Syneco HOT 

(Hydraulic Oil Treatment). 

E’ un processo rivolto agli oli idraulici della serie Syneco 

PRESS, controllati periodicamente col Service Syneco 

Check-UP; una lavorazione di “lifting” prevede il raggiungimento 

delle caratteristiche iniziali del fluido e perciò consente 

il successivo riutilizzo nello stesso circuito oleodinamico. 

Col processo di lavorazione si prevede di raddoppiare il 

tempo di utilizzo dell’olio in modo da usarlo per la durata 

totale del circuito. 

Sono ridotti gli intervalli di manodopera per il cambio 

dell’olio, la quantità dell’olio da smaltire come prodotto 

esausto, contenendo gli effetti dell’impatto ambientale.

STATE-OF-THE-ART 

Syneco has created and improved a new type of oil-processing 

which increases the in-use life of the oil: this new 

treatment is called Service Syneco HOT (Hydraulic Oil 

Treatment). 

This type of processing is tailored to hydraulic oils of the 

Syneco PRESS Series, which are regularly checked by 

means of Syneco Check-UP service, before undergoing this 

special kind of “plastic surgery”, through which the initial 

oil characteristics are restored, so that it is possible to keep 

using the same oil in the same hydraulic circuit. 

This type of oil processing is designed to double the length 

of time during which oil is used, so that the same oil can be 

used throughout the total circuit length. 

Furthermore, thanks to this oil the number of oil changes is 

reduced, as well as the amount of used oil to be disposed of, 

thus limiting the harmful effects on the environment.
