Safety Tips
Please read and retain these instructions for
future reference.
➤ When punching, always ensure the
machine is on a flat, stable surface.
1. Unpacking and Setting Up
● Your machine is ready to use when removed from the box. Retain
the packaging in case you need to return the machine for repair.
● Position the machine on a flat stable surface.
● Lift the handle to the vertical position.
2. Selecting the Correct Plastic Comb
● Place the document against the size selector and note the
suggested comb element size.
Use the comb element size guide if you wish to confirm the size of the
comb element you are using.
● Place one end of the comb element against the different profiles
in turn to find the appropriate profile.
The separate comb opening mechanism allows you to collate the
documents on the comb whilst punching more pages. Giving you a
quicker binding cycle.
➤ Always test the machine with scrap paper
before punching the final document.
➤ When punching PVC / PP covers, we
recommend the cover be punched with
some paper either side.
mechanism. [Fig. 1]
● Open the comb by turning the ‘comb opening knob’ anticlockwise.
4. Paper Edge Alignment
● Rotate the green knurled wheel to move the edge guide to the
required setting of A4, 11” Letter or US Cover. [Fig. 2]
