The 155 GT was the penultimate version of the prolific
series MERCURIO, a range of eminently urban motorcycles
that BULTACO always maintained in its catalogue. Strong
and functional machines, none the less with excellent
dynamic handling and performance thanks to its powerful
two-stroke engine.
The 1974 model adopted a modern and striking look, a
bold combination of orange with black. A design ahead of
its time that today has become an icon.
Today from our engineering department, BULTACO
Engineering, we pay tribute to this urban-orientated
motorcycle by introducing the MERCURIO helmet, a
numbered edition included in the Heritage collection of
BULTACO Helmets.

The METISSE (which means half-bred in French) was the
first BULTACO designed exclusively for motocross. It was
developed in collaboration with the Richman brothers,
famous British specialists in the discipline, who contributed
their expertise to build a motorcycle ahead of it time.
Most of the units were manufactured in yellow, although
there was a limited set decorated with the ubiquitous
British Racing Green.
