Im Jahr 2006 sind die vier Gemeinden
Deutschnofen, Welschnofen, Karneid/
Steinegg und Tiers mit dem Beitritt zur
Vereinigung „Alpine Pearls” zu wahren
„Perlen der Alpen” geworden. Damit
werben sie für den etwas anderen Urlaub
mit Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken und mit
Rücksicht auf das sensible Ökosystem der
Alpen.
Mit der Guest Card hat auch Ihr Auto
wohlverdienten Urlaub: Eine Woche lang
können Sie nach Herzenslust die Aufstiegsanlagen
im Bereich Rosengarten, Latemar
und Seiser Alm, sowie alle öffentlichen
Verkehrsmittel in Südtirol nutzen. Dazu
kommen attraktive Ermäßigungen für die
Freizeitangebote im Eggental!
Il turismo sostenibile è il modo più intelligente
per difendere l’ecosistema. L’associazione
Alpine Pearls, di cui fanno parte i
paesi di Nova Ponente, Nova Levante, Tires
e Collepietra, favorisce vacanze senz’auto ed
escursioni a impatto zero. Per spostarsi in
tutta la Val d’Ega tra Rosengarten e Latemar
utilizzando soltanto il trasporto pubblico, è
possibile avvalersi della Guest Card che consente
di viaggiare per 7 giorni su tutti i mezzi
del Trasporto Integrato Alto Adige e di utilizzare
10 impianti di risalita per 3 giorni su 7.
Con la Mobil Card invece si possono utilizzare
tutte le linee degli autobus tra Rosengarten
e Latemar e nella città di Bolzano. La “Guida
alla mobilità dolce” fornisce tutte le informazioni
per una scelta consapevole e rispettosa
dell'ambiente.
In 2006 the municipalities of

Santuario di Pietralba
Posto a 1520 m, è uno dei principali santuari
dell’Alto Adige, sorto nel XVI sec. nel luogo

die umliegenden Dolomitenberge Rosengarten,
Latemar, Weiß- und Schwarzhorn. Das
gut markierte Wegenetz führt auf leichte bis
mittelschwere Wanderungen und herrliche
Biketouren. Zwischen den Felswänden warten
Klettersteige und anspruchsvolle Klettertouren.
Harmonisch in die Landschaft gebettet
liegt außerdem Südtirols traditionsreichster
18-Loch Golfplatz in Petersberg. Im Geoparc
Bletterbach kann die Entstehungsgeschichte
der Dolomiten Schicht für Schicht nachverfolgt
werden und der Waldhochseilgarten
Obereggen garantiert Spaß für die ganze
Familie. Einen Besuch wert sind auch die
vielen traditionsreichen Veranstaltungen der

Le località Nova Ponente (1350 m), Monte
S. Pietro (1380 m), Obereggen (1500 m) e
Ega (1120 m) si estendono tra prati e boschi
e offrono una meravigliosa vista su Catinaccio,
Latemar, Corno Bianco e Nero. Da
ognuna di esse partono numerosi sentieri
ben segnati, che consentono di intraprendere
escursioni di ogni difficoltà, perfetti
sia per fare una rilassante passeggiata nel
bosco, sia per affrontare una via ferrata o un
tour in mountainbike. Monte San Pietro, con
il suo impegnativo 18 buche, è la meta dei
golfisti, e il punto di partenza per la visita al
noto Santuario di Pietralba (1520 m), il più
importante dell’Alto Adige. Il parco geologico
“Bletterbach” permette di sfogliare come
un libro la creazione delle Dolomiti e il Bosco
Avventura di Obereggen assicura il divertimento
alle famiglie. Da non perdere sono
infine le numerose manifestazioni popolari
e folkloristiche che si susseguono per tutta
l’estate.

Das Sternendorf Steinegg liegt auf einem
Hochplateau umringt von den Dolomitenbergen
Rosengarten, Latemar und Schlern. Die
Hochfläche bietet viele Wanderrouten ohne
nennenswerte Steigung und mit freien Blick
zu den magischen Bergspitzen. Die Ausgangspunkte
für Touren auf diese Gipfel sind
bequem und in kurzer Zeit mit öffentlichen
Bussen erreichbar. In den Dörfern Steinegg
(823 m), Karneid (500 m), Kardaun (390 m),
Gummer (1117 m) und Blumau (315 m) wirken
die alten Traditionen noch vielfältig ins Alltagsleben
hinein und werden bei zahlreichen Festen
und Veranstaltungen gepflegt. Das Museum
Steinegg ist ein Prachtstück der bäuerlichen
Lebensweise und die Burg Karneid entführt in
die Welt des Mittelalters. In Obergummer steht
die einzige Stern- und Sonnenwarte Südtirols
mit angeschlossenem Planetenrundwanderweg
und in Gummer bietet das neue Planetarium
Einblick in die Welt der Sterne.
L’astrovillaggio Collepietra (823 m) è situato
su un altipiano soleggiato circondato dai
gruppi dolomitici del Catinaccio, Latemar
e Sciliar. Il comune di Cornedo comprende
oltre a Collepietra (823 m) anche i paesi
Cornedo (500 m), Cardano (390 m), San
Valentino (1117 m) e Parto all’Isarco (500 m).
I numerosi sentieri sull’altipiano non presentano
grandi dislivelli e si snodano in un
ambiente naturale magnifico con una vista
unica sulle montagne circostanti. I punti di
partenza per escursioni su queste cime sono
raggiungibili in poco tempo e comodamente
con gli autobus pubblici.
La presenza dell’unico osservatorio astronomico
e solare dell’Alto Adige con il nuovo
Planetario, del magnifico Castello medievale
di Cornedo, dell’imperdibile Museo di
Collepietra sugli usi e costumi della storia
locale aumentano il fascino di questa zona,
dove è facile imparare ad amare la cultura
altoatesina, anche grazie alle numerose feste
folcloristiche tradizionali.
The village of Collepietra (823m) is located
on a large high-Alpine plateau with a stunning
view of the Rosengarten, Latemar and
Sciliar mountains. The region’s hiking trails
are relatively flat and perfect for families,
while craggy peaks dominate the skyline
above. You can reach the starting points
for a summit tour by bus. Local traditions
continue to play a major role in everyday life
in the villages of Collepietra (823m), Cardano
(390m) Cornedo (500m),San Valentino
(1,117m) and Prato all’Isarco (315m), with
centuries-old rituals and celebrations still
important events in the annual calendar.
San Valentino is home to the only solar and
astronomical observatory in the South Tyrol

the medieval castle of Cornedo is also well
worth a visit.

Der Anblick der zerklüfteten weißen Felstürme
und Wände aus urzeitlichen Korallenriffen
macht ehrfürchtig. Windstill eingebettet
zwischen Rosengarten und Schlern folgt ein
vergnügtes Gebirgsbächlein der Schneise des
Tschamintales. Hier verschafft sich die Seele
dieser Landschaft Gehör. Rein, erquickend,
unberührt. Nur der eigene Atem durchbricht
die Stille dieses Naturparadieses. Das sonnige
Bergdorf Tiers (1028 m) bildet mit St. Zyprian
(1073 m), Weißlahnbad und Völser
Aicha (873 m) eine Dorfgemeinschaft. Zum
Großteil dem Naturpark Schlern-Rosengarten
zugeordnet wird in Tiers die Einzigartigkeit

pubblici giornalieri con l’Alpe di Siusi e
con il passo Costalunga nelle Dolomiti – Patrimonio

In treno scendere alla stazione ferroviaria di

Bolzano é collegata giornalmente a Roma-
Fiumicino con voli diretti di Air Alps. Verona

By car
Take the exit marked ‘Bozen Nord/Bolzano
Nord’ off the ‘Brennerautobahn’ motorway
(A22). Follow the road into the Eggental Valley
and after 20–30km you will reach Welschnofen,
Karersee, Deutschnofen, Obereggen, Eggen and
Petersberg. For Tiers (20km) take the same exit
and follow the signs for ‘Tiersertal/Valle di Tires’.
For Steinegg follow the signs to ‘Blumau/Prato
Isarco’ and there take the road on the right to
‘Steinegg/Collepietra’ (15km).
By train or bus
From the main railway station in Bozen/
Bolzano buses run approx. every 30 minutes
(www.sii.bz.it). Many hotels offer a pick-up
service.

By flight
The closest airport is in Bolzano which is connected
with Roma with direct flights of Air
Alps. Other near airports are Innsbruck, Verona,
Milan/Bergamo, Venice, Treviso and Munich,
where low cost airlines such as Ryanair, Easyjet,
Transavia and other airlines offer direct flight
from all over Europe.
There is a transfer (www.terravision.eu) from
Bergamo and Verona to Bolzano.
