Looney Tunes
Il 24 dicembre i Looney Tunes tornano sugli schermi italiani con un format rivisto
Sembra un regalo di Natale
pensato per tutti i
fan quello di Boomerang
Italia: sì perché, a partire proprio
dal 24 dicembre, sul canale 609 di
Sky, sono andati in onda i nuovissimi
episodi del The Looney Tunes
Show. Una serie televisiva interamente
dedicata al cartoon più spiritoso
della storia dell’animazione
con importanti novità: il format è
stato infatti rivisto in chiave fresca e
moderna per uno show che ospita,
al suo interno, star vecchie e nuove,
esilaranti avventure, intrecci amorosi
e comparsate di personaggi
famosi. Fulcro della serie, in onda
tutti i giorni alle 20:45, le avventure
del duo di amici Bugs Bunny e
Duffy Duck. Bugs e Duffy non sono
cambiati (Bugs è sempre spudorato,
sarcastico e un passo avanti a
tutti, mentre Duffy conserva la sua
tendenza narcisista, antisociale e
paranoica) ma le loro vite sì: i due
protagonisti infatti vivono ora sotto
lo stesso tetto, si sono fidanzati (con
due new entries: Lola e Tina) e hanno
tantissimi nuovi amici. Uno show
che promette di divertire non solo i
più piccoli, ma anche gli stessi adulti
e che vede le vite di Bugs e Duffy
intrecciarsi a quelle degli altrettanto
noti Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales,
Wile E. Coyote e, certamente, Titti e
Silvestro. Inoltre sono previsti mini
short di 2 minuti e mezzo di Wile Coyote
e Beep Beep realizzati in modernissima
computer grafica, in cui
le caratteristiche dei protagonisti riescono
ad uscire fuori al meglio fornendo
una comicità contemporanea
e introducendo a un nuovo mondo di
gag e comicità. In Warner Bros. C.P.
si apre un nuovo panorama di licensing
e grandi opportunità di sviluppo
prodotti ai partner che potranno così
scegliere una property “rinfrescata”:
una garanzia di successo per il

A boom for Looney Tunes
Christmas Eve sees new format Looney Tunes back on
TV screens in Italy
Cool Christmas present for fans from Boomerang Italy,
with the brand new episodes of The Looney Tunes show
broadcast from 24 December on Sky channel 609. A TV
series dedicated entirely to the cheekiest cartoon in the
history of animation with some great updates: the format
has been given a complete facelift for a show jampacked
with old favourites and new stars, exhilarating
adventures, romantic intrigues and guest appearances
of famous people. The series hinges on the adventures
of friends Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, who are now
housemates, have found girlfriends and have a host of
new friends. A show for young and old alike, with Bugs
and Daffy sharing the screen together with Porky Pig,
Speedy Gonzales and Tweety Pie and Sylvester. Then
there are a slew of 2.5 mini shorts produced with cutting
computer graphics starring Wile E. Coyote and Road
Runner. The new graphics highlight the characters to
give a very contemporary feel to a whole host of comic
gags. Warner Bros. C.P. are gearing up for a new licensing
foray, with great opportunities for product development
for their partners, who can choose between the
revamped properties in what’s bound to be a merchandising
