The <strong>DDD</strong>175 dig<strong>it</strong>al decoration<br />
system has be<strong>en</strong> expr<strong>es</strong>sly<br />
developed by SACMI for the<br />
controlled application of powders<br />
on ceramic bodi<strong>es</strong>.<br />
Based on a new SACMI technology,<br />
the decoration un<strong>it</strong>s<br />
allow several differ<strong>en</strong>t typ<strong>es</strong> of<br />
ceramic powder to be applied<br />
w<strong>it</strong>hout any significant r<strong>es</strong>trictions<br />
in terms of particle size<br />
distribution or colour.<br />
Il sistema di decorazione dig<strong>it</strong>ale<br />
<strong>DDD</strong>175 è stato <strong>es</strong>pr<strong>es</strong>sam<strong>en</strong>te<br />
sviluppato da SACMI per l’applicazione<br />
controllata di polveri su<br />
un supporto ceramico.<br />
Le un<strong>it</strong>à di decoro, basate su<br />
una nuova tecnologia SACMI,<br />
cons<strong>en</strong>tono di applicare diverse<br />
tipologie di polveri ceramiche,<br />
s<strong>en</strong>za particolari lim<strong>it</strong>i di granulometria<br />
e colore.<br />
El sistema de decoración dig<strong>it</strong>al<br />
<strong>DDD</strong>175 ha sido d<strong>es</strong>arrollado<br />
expr<strong>es</strong>am<strong>en</strong>te por SACMI con<br />
el fin de aplicar polvo sobre un<br />
soporte cerámico de manera<br />
controlada.<br />
Las unidad<strong>es</strong> de decoración,<br />
basadas <strong>en</strong> una nueva tecnología<br />
SACMI, perm<strong>it</strong><strong>en</strong> aplicar<br />
distintos tipos de polvos cerámicos,<br />
sin <strong>es</strong>pecial<strong>es</strong> lím<strong>it</strong><strong>es</strong> de<br />
granulometría y color.

The characteristic flexibil<strong>it</strong>y<br />
of dig<strong>it</strong>al systems has be<strong>en</strong><br />
combined w<strong>it</strong>h the freedom to<br />
use any trad<strong>it</strong>ional ceramic raw<br />
materials.<br />
The system consists of a set of<br />
indep<strong>en</strong>d<strong>en</strong>t decoration un<strong>it</strong>s,<br />
one for each colour, installed<br />
in sequ<strong>en</strong>ce along a conveyor<br />
belt. By using in a coordinated<br />
manner the data made available<br />
by graphics control software on<br />
the various un<strong>it</strong>s, <strong>it</strong> is possible<br />
to apply the d<strong>es</strong>ired decoration<br />
on the material as <strong>it</strong> is fed down<br />
the line.<br />
The device can be easily installed<br />
in a pre-existing ceramics<br />
workshop; more specifically,<br />
<strong>it</strong> is particularly su<strong>it</strong>able for<br />
surface application over an<br />
underlying powder layer in a<br />
CONTINUA line.<br />
The system is d<strong>es</strong>igned so that<br />
the powders ‘selected’ for discharge<br />
onto the tile do not need<br />
to go through small orific<strong>es</strong>,<br />
thus <strong>en</strong>suring maximum reliabil<strong>it</strong>y<br />
and performance repeatabil<strong>it</strong>y.<br />
Alla fl<strong>es</strong>sibil<strong>it</strong>à, caratteristica dei<br />
sistemi dig<strong>it</strong>ali, si unisce così<br />
la libertà di utilizzo dei materiali<br />
tipici dell’industria ceramica.<br />
Il sistema è cost<strong>it</strong>u<strong>it</strong>o da una<br />
serie di un<strong>it</strong>à di decoro indip<strong>en</strong>d<strong>en</strong>ti,<br />
una per colore, inser<strong>it</strong>e<br />
in sequ<strong>en</strong>za su un nastro di<br />
trasporto. Utilizzando in modo<br />
coordinato, sulle varie un<strong>it</strong>à, i<br />
dati prov<strong>en</strong>i<strong>en</strong>ti da un programma<br />
di g<strong>es</strong>tione grafica, è quindi<br />
possibile applicare il decoro<br />
voluto sul materiale che avanza<br />
sulla linea.<br />
Il dispos<strong>it</strong>ivo può <strong>es</strong>sere inser<strong>it</strong>o<br />
s<strong>en</strong>za problemi in ambi<strong>en</strong>te<br />
ceramico; in particolare si adatta<br />
efficacem<strong>en</strong>te all’applicazione<br />
superficiale sopra uno strato di<br />
polvere base in una linea CON-<br />
TINUA.<br />
La particolar<strong>it</strong>à del sistema, in<br />
cui le polveri “selezionate” per lo<br />
scarico sulla piastrella non devono<br />
passare da piccoli “orifizi”,<br />
garantisce grande affidabil<strong>it</strong>à e<br />
ripetibil<strong>it</strong>à delle pr<strong>es</strong>tazioni.<br />
De <strong>es</strong>te modo, a la flexibilidad<br />
característica de los sistemas<br />
dig<strong>it</strong>al<strong>es</strong>, se une la libertad de<br />
uso de los material<strong>es</strong> típicos de<br />
la industria cerámica.<br />
El sistema <strong>es</strong>tá const<strong>it</strong>uido por<br />
una serie de unidad<strong>es</strong> de decoración<br />
indep<strong>en</strong>di<strong>en</strong>t<strong>es</strong>, una por<br />
color, introducidas <strong>en</strong> secu<strong>en</strong>cia<br />
sobre una cinta transportadora.<br />
Utilizando de modo coord<strong>en</strong>ado,<br />
<strong>en</strong> las varias unidad<strong>es</strong>,<br />
los datos prov<strong>en</strong>i<strong>en</strong>t<strong>es</strong> de un<br />
programa de g<strong>es</strong>tión gráfica,<br />
se puede aplicar la decoración<br />
d<strong>es</strong>eada sobre el material que<br />
avanza a lo largo de la línea.<br />
El dispos<strong>it</strong>ivo puede ser introducido<br />
sin ningún problema <strong>en</strong><br />
el ambi<strong>en</strong>te cerámico; además,<br />
se adapta eficazm<strong>en</strong>te a la<br />
aplicación superficial sobre una<br />
capa de polvo base <strong>en</strong> una línea<br />
CONTINUA.<br />
La peculiaridad del sistema<br />
consiste <strong>en</strong> que los polvos “seleccionados”<br />
para la d<strong>es</strong>carga<br />
sobre el azulejo no deb<strong>en</strong> pasar<br />
por pequeños “orificios”, garantizando<br />
así una gran fiabilidad<br />
y repetibilidad de las pr<strong>es</strong>tacion<strong>es</strong>.
