Una storia tra sogno e realtà<br />

Un’organizzazione criminale internazionale prende <strong>di</strong> mira miliardari appassionati <strong>di</strong> sport estremi e li fa sposare con bellissime<br />

modelle senza scrupoli, per poi ucciderli e impossessarsi delle loro ricchezze. A fermare questi malfattori c’è Neutron, alias Philip<br />

Rembrandt, un cr<strong>it</strong>ico d’arte dotato del potere <strong>di</strong> paralizzare esseri viventi e bloccare macchine con la sola forza dello sguardo.<br />

Giunto all’autodromo <strong>di</strong> Monza per salvare la v<strong>it</strong>a a un giovane e ricco pilota americano, Rembrandt conosce <strong>Valentina</strong> Rosselli,<br />

una splen<strong>di</strong>da ragazza milanese dai capelli neri a caschetto e con la passione per la fotografia, l’arte e le macchine veloci.<br />

Tra i due si instaura sub<strong>it</strong>o un rapporto libero e coinvolgente, passionale e al tempo stesso giocoso, che esce dagli schemi del<br />

tra<strong>di</strong>zionale rapporto <strong>di</strong> coppia.<br />

Spregiu<strong>di</strong>cata, curiosa, intellettuale, in questa prima storia <strong>Valentina</strong> vive in piena libertà avventure a cavallo tra sogno e realtà<br />

nella Milano degli anni ‘60. Una Milano che Crepax amava e conosceva molto bene, descrivendone con cura i particolari<br />

e il tessuto sociale: con i suoi intellettuali, gli artisti, gli arch<strong>it</strong>etti, i locali notturni e i salotti della borghesia. In quel mondo<br />

e in quegli anni, <strong>Valentina</strong> <strong>di</strong>venne ben presto un simbolo della rivoluzione sessuale e culturale in atto, oltre che una delle<br />

icone più affascinanti del fumetto mon<strong>di</strong>ale.<br />

A story between dream and real<strong>it</strong>y<br />

An international criminal organization makes billionaires, keen on unlim<strong>it</strong>ed sports, the object of <strong>it</strong>s attacks and makes them marry<br />

w<strong>it</strong>h beautiful models of no scruples, to kill subsequently them and get hold of their riches. Who stops these evil – doers is Neutron,<br />

alias Philip Rembrandt, a cr<strong>it</strong>ic of art w<strong>it</strong>h the power to paralyze living beings and to block cars by the only force of his look.<br />

When he arrives at the Monza Motodrome to save a young and rich American driver’s life, Rembrandt knows <strong>Valentina</strong> Rosselli,<br />

a beautiful girl from Milan w<strong>it</strong>h short black hair and w<strong>it</strong>h the passion for the photograph, for the art and fast cars.<br />

It begins imme<strong>di</strong>ately a free and involving relation between them, w<strong>it</strong>h passion and gay at the same time, out of models of the<br />

tra<strong>di</strong>tional love affair.<br />

Unscrupulous, curious, intellectual, <strong>Valentina</strong> in this first story lives freely adventures between dream and real<strong>it</strong>y in the Milan<br />

in the sixties.<br />

Crepax loved and well known Milano, he described w<strong>it</strong>h great care <strong>it</strong>s particulars and the social tissue: w<strong>it</strong>h <strong>it</strong>s intellectuals,<br />

artists, arch<strong>it</strong>ects, night-clubs and drawing-rooms of the middle-class. <strong>Valentina</strong>, in that world and in those years, became<br />

very early a symbol of the sexual and cultural revolution was being made, besides the one of the most charming icon of the<br />

world comics.
