sprona la capacità tecnica, la inventiva, l’ardimento,
l’intelligenza. Agli occhi dei profani,
degli svogliati, dei nati stanchi, può apparire
folle chi su un veicolo a due ruote va a ricercare
antichi sentieri, guadi di fiume, paludi limacciose,
dirupi, ghiaioni, praterie, sottoboschi,
scalinate; chi arranca di gambe, spinge di braccia
la moto fuori dalla morsa del fango, si graffia
nei cespugli, cade e si rialza per ripartire più
cattivo di prima; chi fradicio di sudore e sfiancato
dalla fatica affronta il sole o la tempesta,
il freddo o il caldo, l’acqua o la neve, per un
platonico applauso o per una medaglietta di
vermeille. Non capiranno mai, questi caffettieri,
come sia bello faticare e soffrire, per vincere sé
stessi, per conquistare una libertà dalla paura,
prima all’interno di sé e poi all’esterno nei confronti
della natura, dell’uomo, dello spazio.
La VALLI torna da ventidue anni, rinnovandosi
nelle generazioni, con lo stesso spirito e con la
stessa finalità, sempre più tecnicamente difficile,
sempre più prestigiosa “.
Cosa dovremmo aggiungere a queste parole?
Nulla!! Abbiamo cambiato un po’ sia sul discorso
della sicurezza sia sul discorso della spettacolarità,
ma lo spirito della manifestazione è
rimasto intatto, i valori sono sempre i medesimi
e la VALLI è e resta la mitica, l’unica, la insuperabile
manifestazione della REGOLARITÀ o
ENDURO. Su un bellissimo tracciato di circa 50
km. da percorrersi tre volte ogni giorno i migliori
120 piloti del mondo si sfideranno per conquistare
si il podio, ma soprattutto il trofeo più
desiderato della regolarità: il trofeo della VALLI
BERGAMASCHE che è ancora la copia esatta del
trofeo LEVO E DUCCIO REGGIANI.
Sorveglieranno e controlleranno questi piloti
più di trecento persone del MOTO CLUB BERGA-
MO, appassionati e competenti controllori della

What can we add more? Nothing!! We made
little changes for the safety and the show, but
the spirit of the event remains the same; values
are the same and the race VALLI remains the
mythical, the only insurmountable event of
REGULARITÀ or ENDURO.
On a beautiful 50 km track to go three times
a day, the world top 120 riders will compete
to conquer the podium but also the most
wanted trophy of enduro: the trophy of VALLI
BERGAMASCHE, that is an exact replica of
LEVO and DUCCIO REGGIANI trophy.
More than 300 people of MOTO CLUB
BERGAMO, passionate and competent controllers
of the event regularity, will monitor and
control these riders, assisted by a first class
medical staff in collaboration with hospitals
in the area and helped, when needed, by the
intervention of a medical helicopter. We are
sure that PROTEZIONE CIVILE, CARABINIERI,
CORPS OF FORESTRIES, STATE POLICE, LOCAL
and PROVINCIAL POLICE will collaborate with
the Club at the event.
Such a cooperation to make sure the race
takes place in complete safety and tranquillity,
to lead to the finish all participants and their
motorcycles, with the conviction that the BEST
rider always wins.
All these resources will raise the little town of
LOVERE, as world headquarter of ENDURO. The
French promoter said that Lovere is the IDEAL
site for VALLI BERGAMASCHE, not only for one
year but it can become A CLASSIC RACE, to be
repeated in the years but always to world level.
We are sure of it because, in addition to the
lake environment, tourism, historic and artistic
