• L'analisi genetica classica su ceppi virali mutati<br />

trasformante risiedesse in un unico gene:<br />
• Virus mutanti termo-sensibili si moltiplicavano e<br />
trasformavano le cellule a 35°C.<br />
–A 41°C le cellule infettate perdevano il fenotipo<br />
trasformato ma la replicazione virale non veniva<br />
interrotta.<br />
–Riportando a 35°C le cellule si ripristinava il<br />
fenotipo trasformato
