Moduli a microprocessore per autodiagnosi
Grazie al modulo MAT3 è possibile realizzare un sistema di autodiagnosi “intelligente”, per tutti i kit
predisposti.
Collegando il modulo MAT3 al Kit di emergenza si ottiene un sistema localizzato le cui informazioni
sulla funzionalità sono affidate a un led luminoso a tre colori, posto nel corpo illuminante.
Effettuando un semplice collegamento, per mezzo di un “BUS DALI a due fili” (1) , dei moduli MAT3 ad
un sistema di controllo DALI si ottiene un sistema centralizzato per la supervisione integrale di tutto il
sistema.

Il modulo MAT3 è dotato di un sofisticato dispositivo a microprocessore che, una volta avviato,
esegue una routine di test diversificati, in modo automatico e autonomo.
ROUTINE
Test di funzionalità
Ogni 7 giorni effettua in modo automatico l’accensione
del tubo fluorescente per circa 15 secondi e ne verifica
la funzionalità.
Test di autonomia
Ogni 12 settimane effettua in modo automatico
l’accensione del tubo fluorescente per 1 o 3 ore (3) e
verifica l’efficienza della batteria.
AVVIO DELLA ROUTINE
Il modulo MAT3 avvia la routine dal momento in cui il kit
di emergenza viene collegato alla batteria e alimentato
con la tensione di rete.
Il led giallo lampeggia per 24 ore e indica il corretto
avvio.
Dopo 1 ora di carica ininterrotta viene eseguito il test di
funzionalità, si accende la lampada per 30 secondi e il
led lampeggia verde. Se il test è superato il led riprende
a lampeggiare giallo.
Se il test fallisce, il led lampeggia rosso.
Se manca la rete durante le prime 24 ore, il processo di avvio
ricomincia.
Se il test lampada fallisce verificare il guasto lampada e:
- resettare il modulo per ripetere il processo di avvio
- oppure fare proseguire la routine. Il led lappeggerà
rosso fino al prossimo test.
Dopo 24 ore di carica ininterrotta la routine termina e il
led diventa verde.

RESET
Il sistema si resetta se:
- manca la rete per più di 4 ore;
- viene staccata la batteria per più di 15s;
- si toglie la rete ed entro 15s si inibisce
il funzionamento in emergenza.
NOTA: ESECUZIONE TEST
Sistema localizzato
Anche se più moduli vengono avviati nello stesso
istante, l’esecuzione dei test potrà avere uno
sfasamento casuale e variabile nel tempo.
L’esecuzione casuale dei test riduce al minimo la
probabilità di ritrovarsi con tutte le batterie scariche in
caso di un black-out immediatamente successivo a un
test di autonomia.

Rimuovere il Led verde dal kit di emergenza
Collegare il modulo autotest al kit di emergenza innestando il connettore
a 6 poli nella presa “interface” presente sul kit

Self-diagnosis microprocessor module
Using MAT3 module, is now possible realized an intelligent self-diagnosis system suitable for all
predisposed kit.
Connecting MAT3 module to emergency kit obtain an localized system which information, on the
functionality, are provided by three-colour led, positioned on the lamp.
Through a “BUS DALI-like two cable” (1) , making a simple connection of some MAT3 to a DALI
central control unit, obtain a centralized system for an integral supervision of every part of it.
MAT3, equipped with sophisticated microprocessor module, is pre-programmed to carry out testing
automatically.

Remove green led from emergency kit.
Connect self-testing module to emergency kit by plugging 6-pole connector into
"interface" outlet on kit.
ROUTINE
Function test
Every 7 days it carry out a short test
(about 15 seconds) on the function for lamp.
Duration test
Every 12 weeks it carry out a test (1 or 3 hours) (3) to
check battery capacity.
RESET
MAT3 reset itself:
- after more than 4 hours of no mains
- removing battery for more than 15s,
- removing mains supply and switching to
inhibition mode within 15s.

ROUTINE START-UP
MAT3 module starts routine test when emergency
kit is connected to the battery and mains
supplied.
24 hours yellow led blinking means a good start.
After 1 hour of continuous charge it carry out a
function test (about 15 seconds and led blink
green). If lamp test is positive led blink yellow
again, if lamp test failed led blink red.
If mains voltage stops during first 24 hours the routine starts
again.
If lamp test failed verify the lamp and:
- reset MAT3 and repeat the start-up
- or continuos with routine.
Led blink red until next lamp test.
After 24 hours of continuous charge
routine is terminated. The led is now permanent
green.
NOTE: CARRYNG OUT TEST
Localized system
If more MAT3 starts simultaneously the tests could be
carried out with little different time.
This is for minimise inconvenience during the tests
while premises are occupied, and minimise the effects
of a supply failure when luminaires are only partially
recharged after a full discharge test.

THEM ONLY AT A RIGHT ANGLE.
