Level controller TS-NW2Liqiud level monitoring of electroconductive liquids, for connection of immersion electrodesApplicationn Level monitoring of electroconductive liquidsn Filling and draining of tanks and reservoirsn Monitoring of wellsn Dry-running protectionDescriptionn Mounting width 22,5 mmn Two change-over contactsn Connection ports for up to three immersionelectrodesn Resistance range 100 kW / 2 MW8022,5The TS-NW2 devices are level relays used for monitoringthe levels of conductive liquids. The exciting voltage mustbe applied to terminals A1 and A2 during operation of thedevices. Single-terminal electrodes are used for recordingmeasured values. The test circuit of the electronic control iselectrically isolated from the power supply, the transformerused is manufactured according to VDE 0551. Electrodecurrent 10 mA, electrode voltage 18 V AC. The delay onenergization and the drop-out time are both 0,6 s.1-point controlThe reference electrode or conductive vessel wall is connectedto terminal B1. The maximum electrode is connectedto terminal B2. If the maximum electrode is notmoistened by the liquid, then the output relay is attractedinstanteneously. If the maximum electrode is moistened bythe liquid, then the output relay returns to its normal position. For this function, terminals B1-X2 must be bridged inthe case of TS-NW2. Without the jumper the relay functionis reversed.2-point controlThe devices are connected as for the 1-point control withthe addition of an electrode (minimum electrode) connectedto terminal B3. If the maximum electrode B2 is not moistenedby the liquid, then the output relay is attracted instantaneously. If the maximum electrode is moistened by theliquid, then the output relay returns to its normal position. Ifthe minimum electrode is no longer moistened by the liquid, then the output relay attracts again. For this function, terminalsB1-X2 must be bridged in the case of TS-NW2. Withoutthe jumper the relay function is reversed.Level12-terminal housing29975DIN- rail 35mmAccessoriesImmersion Electrode EL-VTypesOrder referencePart No.TS-NW2 (230 V – 100 kΩ) 1090 001Other operating voltages and other resistance ranges upon request.95
