11. Porella obtusata (Taylor) Trevis., mistakenly included in the list <strong>of</strong> hornworts <strong>and</strong> liverworts fromSouth-East Europe (Sabojlević & Natcheva 2006:174).12. Porella platyphylloidea (Schwein.) Lindb. cited in Europe is Porella platyphylla (L.) Pfeiff. (Mihai,Pascal & Costică 1998; Ştefănuţ 2004d:38).13. Scapania glaucocephala (Taylor) Austin was reported from <strong>Romania</strong>, but without localities <strong>and</strong>specimens, <strong>and</strong> has been rejected until specimen is found (Düll 1983; Söderström, Urmi & Váňa2002, 2007). <strong>The</strong> samples <strong>of</strong> Scapania glaucocephala (Taylor) Austin were checkied by Düll R.Western European arctic-alpine species, extremely rare, with distribution in Germany (BayerischeAlpen, Allgäuer Alpen), N. Russia, Norway <strong>and</strong> Sweden (Frey & al. 2006:100). <strong>The</strong> samplesfrom Cluj County, Morii Valley, on s<strong>and</strong>y-clayey soil, as Scapania glaucocephala, leg. & det.Plămadă E. were wrongly identified (Plămadă 1967:470).14. Scapania praetervisa Meyl., published by Jakab G. as new for <strong>Romania</strong>, from Covatar Waterfall,near Săpânţa, Maramureş County, 900 m alt., 15-21.06.1997 (Jakab 1999:55). Arctic-alpinespecies, requires further confirmation.THE AREAS INVESTIGATED<strong>The</strong> <strong>Atlas</strong> includes my research conducted during 1995-2008 in over 200 localities across <strong>Romania</strong>.In Fig. 6 is represented the distribution <strong>of</strong> areas investigated (the blue circle). An important support in therealisation <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Atlas</strong> came from my colleagues: Paulina Anastasiu, Dan Cogălniceanu, GinaCogălniceanu, Simona Mihăilescu, Mihaela Paucă-Comănescu, Adriana Jalbă, Claudia Nicolae, MarilenaOnete, Oliviu Pop, Cristina Fiera, Nicoleta Şerpoiu <strong>and</strong> Kinga Öllerer from which I received severalspecimens collected from the field (the red circle).Fig. 6. <strong>The</strong> distribution <strong>of</strong> areas investigated.32
