INSTRUCTION FOR THE INSTALLATION
OF THE AXIAL JOINTS ON THE RACK
Se i tiranti sono provvisti di dado di bloccaggio,ogni
tirante può essere chiuso singolarmenteagendo
simultaneamente sia sulla ghiera che sulcontrodado

Se i tiranti non sono muniti di controdado, procedere
come segue: inserire eventuali distanziali inplastica
e/o rondelle, avvitare fino in fondomanualmente
i due tiranti, bloccare una chiaveinserita
in un tirante e serrare a fondo l’altra, inquesta operazione
la scatola sterzo deve esserelibera di ruotare!

Inserire una adeguata quantità di grasso dalle
dueestremità della cremagliera. Chiudere con le
rela-tive cuffie di protezione e bloccarle con fascette.
If the axial joints are provided with stop nuts,each
axial joint may be individually locked byacting simultaneously
both on ring nut and onlock nut fig.A
If the axial joints are not provided with stop
nuts,proceed as follows: Insert any possible plastic
spa-cer and/or washer, screw tight by hand the
2axial joints, lock a spanner inserted on an axialjoint
and tighten the other spanner. During thisoperation
the steering rack should be free of
rota-ting fig.B
Add a convenient quantity of grease from the 2rack
ends and then slide the bellows over the rackhousing
and tighten the clamps.
