Villa Barbara is an oasis within green hills, but in less than 1 hour, you can reach
the beaches of the Tyrrhenian sea.
MARINA DI CECINA
It is a sea-side resort located at only 26 km from Villa Barbara. Marina di Cecina is
characterised by the presence of many beaches and a long pinewood forest,
ideal for bike rides and walking.
TIRRENIA
Tirrenia arises at the centre of the Tuscan coast,
extending itself on a coastal stretch about 10km long.
Four elements optimises its position 1) a sea where it is
possible to practise any kind of aquatic sport 2) the
green mediterranean pinewood, ideal for relaxing
walks, bike or horse rides; 3) a navigable river, where
recreational boats find a place and assistance all
year long; 4) The simplicity with which it is possible to reach the coast, through
the close Pisa airport, the port of Livorno and the various motorway exits/
entrances.
CASTIGLIONCELLO
Ancient
Etruscan village,
Castiglioncello is located on the top of a hill, which is the last part of Livorno’s
mountains. It is an international tourist resort with a unique flair, also defined as
“the pearl of the Tyrrhenian sea”.
Red cliffs above the sea, protected coves, beaches and “calette” touched by
crystal clear water, served by characteristic bathhouses await you in
Castiglioncello, whose beautiful pinewood by the sea inspired many painters
and poets.
