Hi,
I’m Paolo Pacini, president of the “Kontiki” tourism consortium.
Today I’m proud to present the “Costa degli Etruschi” (The Etruscan
Coast), a wonderful territory, just waiting to welcome both you and your
loved ones next time you decide to take a well-deserved vacation. I’m
not going to talk about Pisa or Florence, Siena or Volterra, though these
popular destinations can be easily reached from here. Instead, I’d like to
talk about our SEA, which has received many Bandiera Blu awards for it’s
clear waters, and also about the marvellous “TOMBOLI” pine woods which
extend along this magnificent coast line. It’s the perfect place simply to
relax or to engage in any number of fabulous activities...

Volterra erzählen, auch wenn du die Städte von hier aus leicht besuchen
könntest, sondern von unserem MEER; vielfach preisgekrönt mit der

PIOMBINO
A sud della Costa degli Etruschi si trova Piombino, da qui partono le motonavi per le isole ma
anche il “carosello” delle barche a vela che in questo golfo trovano una continuità di brezze e
venti adatti a questo tipo di navigazione. Notevole il suo patrimonio relativo agli insediamenti
Etruschi da Baratti e Populonia. Da Piombino verso San Vincenzo parte il parco costiero di
Rimigliano...
To the south of the Costa degli Etruschi (Etruscan Coast) lies Piombino, its waters dotted
with boats constantly departing for the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, as well as a nonstop
“carousel” of sailing boats cruising in and around this gulf, perfect for sailing thanks
to the continual breezes and sea winds. It boasts a remarkable heritage with the Etruscan
settlements of Baratti and Populonia. The coastal park of Rimigliano runs from Piombino
towards San Vincenzo...
Im Süden der etruskischen Küste liegt Piombino. Von hier aus fahren die Motorschiffe zu den
