Editorial The subject of the next meeting will be no less captivating, with various genera of the multi-faceted Asian swamp and river turtles being in the spotlight. If you are interested in participating, please let us know during the next few weeks which species you think should be discussed: just drop us a line! The overall success of the last events was not only a result of the large numbers of active turtle keepers who attended, however, but was also helped by the venue with its conducive facilities and atmosphere. Since 2005, all specialist workshops have been held at the REPTILIUM Terrarien- und Wüstenzoo in Landau/Pfalz (Palatinate, Germany). Here, we were not only granted use of their rooms and enjoyed great hospitality, but also had a chance of being taken on guided tours through the REPTILIUM to learn more about the reptiles and amphibians that are kept there with great success. We would therefore like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the entire team of the Terrarienzoo, and in particular to Nadine and Uwe Wünstel and, of course, Thomas Wilms, who has been an active participant in all our workshops. All that now remains for us to do is wishing you, our dear readers, enjoyable and informative hours of reading the present issue! Bernd Wolff Chairman, German Chelonia Group Andreas S.
