On the Water New

On the Water New Horizons Style and power: the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 space for an innovative hydraulic passarelle in the middle for passengers to board easily. The name Lamborghini also conjures up images of high-performance, style and supreme attention to detail. And, true to form, the automotive brand’s venture into the yachting world is as chic as it is powerful. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is the result of the inspired idea of Giovanni Costantino, the founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group (theitalianseagroup.com), to team up with Lamborghini’s Centro Stile to create a seabound craft through its dynamic range of sporting vessels that is a testament to all these values (the name is a nod to the car company’s founding in 1963). The futuristic design includes two MAN V12 2000hp engines capable of reaching a top speed of 60 knots, making it the fastest in the Tecnomar fleet. As Katia Bassi, head of marketing and communication at Automobili Lamborghini, says: “If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on water, this would be my vision.” • EYES ON THE RIBS Getting to and from a yacht has never been more stlyish The Williams EvoJet 70, above and left Tecnorib Pirelli 42, right TECNORIB PIRELLI 42 Sporty clean lines mark out this 14-passenger rib designed by Swedish firm Mannerfelt.
