LIVING ROOM LIFESTYLE TV

LIVING ROOM LIFESTYLE TV PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT B&O AND LG TEAM ON THE BEOVISION ECLIPSE The BeoVision Eclipse TV is the result of Bang & Olufsen’s first collaboration with LG Electronics in the home entertainment space and is both a television and a music system. The TV utilises LG Electronics’ OLED TV technology and its integrated, 450W powerful 3-channel SoundCentre offers both stereo performance and a centre channel – and connectivity enables internet radio and music streaming services. If users opt to use additional speakers via the integrated surround sound decoder, the centre channel performance of the TV matches any of the Bang & Olufsen high-end BeoLab loudspeakers. This enables an immersive cinematic experience for users in their own homes. Adaptability is key to the Eclipse. It comes with LG’s webOS 3.5, enabling users to access and customise streaming services including as Netflix and YouTube. The speaker itself is physically customisable, with choices of aluminum or different coloured fabrics. The BeoVision Eclipse comes in 55- and 65-inch sizes. » HALL 1.2 / Stand 208 SAMSUNG LAUNCHES Q8F QLED PREMIUM TVS KEY SELLING POINTS KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Soundbar synergy: The Eclipse integrates Bang & Olufsen's proprietary threechannel SoundCentre - a 450W soundbar at the bottom of the screen with left, right and centre channels 2 On the move: The motorised floor stand can move the screen nearer or further away from the viewing position at the touch of a button 3 Every taste : The speaker itself is physically customisable, with choices of aluminum or different coloured fabrics Samsung launched new 55- and 65-inch QLED TV models under the Q8F brand at IFA. Having hosted the QLED and HDR10 Summit at IFA on September 1 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Berlin to offer insights into advancements in quantum dot (QLED) displays, Samsung has released the Q8F as the flat screen counterpart of the previously launched curved screen Q8C lineup. Part of Samsung’s strategy to consolidate its leading position in the global premium TV market, the Q8C uses metal quantum dot technology to produce highly accurate colours regardless of scene brightness levels - hence the “100% Colour Volume” rating by the VDE certificate authority. The Q8C also includes an Invisible Connection transparent 1.8 mm diameter optical cable to eliminate cable clutter. » CityCube Hall B 101 1 Samsung’s first flat screen QLED TV 2 Metal quantum dot technology produces highly accurate colours 3 Invisible Connection eliminates cable clutter METZ MICOS Available in 43-, 49-, and 55-inch, the new Micos range has been positioned at the affordable quality end of the company’s product portfolio. LIVING ROOM LIFESTYLE ACCESSORIES PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT ADVERTORIAL MOTORISED TV WALL BRACKET WITH INTEGRATED SOUND BAR Vogel’s Motion Sound Mount is a motorised full-motion TV wall mount with an integrated soundbar and wireless subwoofer. When the TV is switched on, it shifts in one flowing movement to a selected viewing position without the need for a separate remote control. It also has a unique feature that automatically directs the sound and TV towards the viewer, and is able to turn up to 120º to the left or right. Users can also easily stream music to the soundbar from their smartphone or tablet. Designed to elevate the viewing and listening experience, the intelligent wall mount includes an app for enhanced user-friendliness by allowing everyone in the household to set their own preferred viewing positions. » HALL 2.2 / Stand 111 HAMA: THOMSON ROC3506 – THE UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Motorised wall mount can turn up to 120° 2 Up to 10 preprogrammable positions, via an app 3 Integrated 300-watt soundbar and wireless subwoofer KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Compact Small size of the Gravity stand enables the TV to be placed in small spaces 2 Versatile Can turn the Gravity stand up to 70 degrees 3 Design Fits every home regardless of its individual aesthetic MELICONI PROMOTES SLIMSTYLE 400 SDR BRACKET Meliconi, a leading Italian player in the wall bracket sector, is at IFA 2017 with Slimstyle, an elegant line that is 100% made in Italy. The company’s brackets have extremely compact dimensions and, once closed, they disappear behind the TV, making it look as if it is hung on the wall like a picture. The Slimstyle 400 SDR’s double arm has two advantages. Firstly, it allows the possibility of moving the TV further away from the wall and angling it vertically and horizontally by up to 90°. Secondly, even when closed towards the wall, the TV remains centred relative to the fixing point. The bracket can be combined with other Slimstyle accessories such as wire cover channels and shelves for audio/ video equipment, allowing the customer to hide unsightly wires that connect the various pieces of electronic equipment. » HALL 25 / Stand 206 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Adaptable Suitable for all TVs with VESA 200/300/400 mm hole patterns 2 All-in Solution Can be combined with other Slimstyle accessories 3 Positioning Allows for a range of TV positions in relation to wall In modern living rooms, all home entertainment devices are connected to each other; and ideally, they communicate optimally with one another. However, there are still several remote controls and possibly even an additional computer keyboard occupying the living room table, which is hardly conducive to a purist feel-good atmosphere. With the ROC3506, Thomson presents a control centre for simple, straightforward operation and control of your complete home entertainment. It combines an infrared universal remote control – as is usual for televisions, for example – with the advantages of a 2.4-GHz multimedia keyboard for the PC. To come as close as possible to the original TV remote controls and to retain familiarity, Thomson is launching five models for the brands Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips and Panasonic. » HALL 10.2 / Stand 101 KEY SELLING POINTS 1 Convenience Ends the need for numerous remote controls 2 All-rounder Combines best of remote control and keyboard 3 Bespoke Five models for Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips and Panasonic SAMSUNG CREATES QLED STANDS AND INVISIBLE CONNECTION CABLE Samsung has rolled out a range of accessories to support its QLED TV products. These include the Gravity and Studio stands and the transparent “Invisible Connection” optical cables. With a contemporary look and feel, the Samsung Gravity Stand enhances rooms with its modern design and shape. Comprised of stainless steel, the Gravity Stand is so discreet that the QLED TV looks as if it were floating when affixed. The Gravity Stand also allows users to turn the TV screen up to 70° (35° left or right). The Samsung Studio Stand is designed to allow the QLED TV to be displayed as a masterpiece in the home and provides consumers with the ability to easily place their TV anywhere. » CityCube HALL B Stand 101 www.ifa-international.org IFA International • Monday 4 st September 2017 33
