There are ten <strong>Latin</strong> passages on this exam, three long, three medium, three short, and a sight<br />
passage on the NLE. You will be translating six and answering multiple choice questions about<br />
one. The other three you get to skip.<br />
Here are the five ways you can earn points:<br />
I. Longer Translations: Translate two of the three passages from section I as literally as good<br />
English allows. (20 points each, 40 points total)<br />
II. Medium Translations: Translate two of the three passages from section II as literally as<br />
good English allows. (10 points each, 20 points total)<br />
III. Shorter Translations: Translate two of the three passages from section III as literally as<br />
good English allows. (5 points each, 10 points total)<br />
IV. Identification: For each of the six passages that you translated, fully parse / identify the<br />
underlined words. (6 words, 10 points total)<br />
V. NLE: Answer the questions by putting the correct letter in the corresponding blank to the<br />
