Chapter 1<br />

One part of the project is the <strong>ZK</strong> framework itself (which can be downloaded under<br />

http://www.zkoss.org). Here, we have to copy the libraries, tld and xsd files to our<br />

project. The following libraries (inside the lib directory) are necessary to run<br />

the application:<br />

The last artifact that we have to create is the deployment descriptor for the web<br />

application, web.xml. The descriptor for the demo application is depicted below. The<br />

.zul files are interpreted by a servlet defined inside the zk.jar. The <strong>ZK</strong> framework<br />

also provides session management. Therefore, a predefined web.xml file is provided.<br />
