According to the main goal of the work, it has been stated and solved thefollowing objectives in the dissertation thesis: It was learnt and analyzed the correspondent conditions for the development of themassive recreation and tourism in the Upper Svaneti, as well as the global trends andexpected changes towards this direction; It was analyzed the system of factors for providing development of massiverecreation and tourism in the Upper Svaneti; was defined the intercommunicationbetween the evolution of the sphere and the different outside factors that influence onit; It was determined the problems of placement of the resort-touristic and recreationalurban-planning complexes in the Upper Svaneti, and was analyzed the foreignexperience and the closest trends towards this direction; It was planned the resort-touristic and recreational urban-planning complex, and wererevealed the pecularities of their placement; It was defined the specific regulatories of the massive recreation and touristic urbanplanningorganization in the Upper Svaneti; It was elaborated the main principles of the formation and functional zoning of theplanning structure.According to the long-term sustainable development urban-planningrecommendations worked out in the dissertation thesis, it is possible to optimally useand preserve the existing potential of the Upper Svaneti, as well as improve the generaleconomic situation of the region, and sharply increase the level of life of the populationthere.35
