Goliath<br />
Goliath is een schimmelruin van de succesvolle<br />
hengst Bustique, die onder Michel Hendrix furore<br />
maakte en vervolgens naar de Verenigde Staten werd<br />
geëxporteerd. Goliath’s moeder Zoelina is een dochter<br />
van Coriano en bracht al verschillende goede paarden.<br />
Eén daarvan is de Vingino-zoon Dino die via de DSHS<br />
onder het zadel van Anna-Julia Kontio kwam en<br />
tegenwoordig door de Ier Captain Brian Cournane op<br />
1.60m-niveau wordt uitgebracht. Daarbij gaf Zoelina ook<br />
al de Carambole-merrie Elina die internationaal acteert<br />
met Alise Oken. Deze wapenfeiten zijn allesbehalve<br />
frappant, want het betreft hier namelijk de ijzersterke<br />
Oberlina-lijn. Zo is Zoelina tevens de halfzus van Grand<br />
Prix-springpaarden als Barino (Marc Bettinger) en<br />
Torano (Caorlyn Curcio). Onder het zadel van Nicole<br />
Mestrom toonde Goliath zich een zeer compleet paard<br />
dat keer op keer opvalt op concours. Goliath is tevens<br />
geplaatst voor de KWPN Kampioenschappen.<br />

Goliath is a grey gelding by the successful stallion<br />
Bustique, who caused a craze under Michel Hendrix<br />
before being exported to the United States. Goliath’s<br />
dam Zoelina, a Coriano daughter, has produced several<br />
good horses. Among them is the Vingino son Dino,<br />
who came under the saddle of Anna-Julia Kontio<br />
via DSHS and currently competes at 1.60m level<br />
under Captain Brian Cournane of Ireland. In addition,<br />
Zoelina produced the Carambole daughter Elina, who<br />
competes internationally under Alise Oken. However,<br />
these achievements are far from remarkable, given that<br />
we’re dealing with the solid Oberlina-line. For example,<br />
Zoelina is also a half-sister to Grand Prix show jumpers<br />
including Barino (Marc Bettinger) and Torano (Carolyn<br />
Curcio). Under Nicole Mestrom, Goliath proved himself<br />
a very complete horse that stands out in competitions<br />
time and again. Goliath is qualified for the KWPN<br />
Championships.<br />
