In 1976 ontstond Sotheby’s International
Realty vanuit het veilinghuis Sotheby’s Auctions
om aan de groeiende vraag naar luxe

in meer dan 70 landen. Jim Reerink

sinds het begin van de jaren ’90 werkzaam
is in de sector.
In 1976, Sotheby’s International Realty was
created from the Sotheby’s Auctions auction
house to meet the growing demand for
luxury real estate. Today, the network boasts
more than 22,000 brokers in 990 offices in
more than 70 countries. Jim Reerink (CEO
Netherlands), together with Marianne Joanknecht
(partner Amsterdam office) and an
enthusiastic team of professionals, continues
the age-old tradition of Sotheby’s on
the Dutch real estate market. “Because there
is an optimal synergy between the Sotheby’s
Realty branches themselves, as well as
with the Sotheby’s Auctions divisions such
as the wine, luxury cars and jewelry department,
we can serve our customers as well as
possible,” says Jim Reerink, who has been
active in the sector from the early 90s.
