conflitos geracionais, temores apocalípticos e uma <strong>de</strong>sconfiança sobre a<br />
capacida<strong>de</strong> da tecnologia <strong>de</strong> gerar bem-estar ao invés <strong>de</strong> (ainda mais) <strong>dilemas</strong><br />
morais e existenciais. Por estas e outras razões (como a estética), a trama <strong>de</strong><br />
Evangelion tornou-se cada vez mais sombria à medida que a série progrediu.<br />
In<strong>de</strong>pen<strong>de</strong>ntemente do olhar adotado ser otimista ou amargo, em ambos<br />
os casos Neon Genesis Evangelion aparece certamente como um mangá (e<br />
anime) intrigante e <strong>de</strong>nso, que encanta seus leitores (e espectadores) com os<br />
dramas e angústias <strong>de</strong> seus personagens. Estes vivem uma gran<strong>de</strong> aventura<br />
apenas para <strong>de</strong>scobrirem que esta não po<strong>de</strong> compensar as necessida<strong>de</strong>s<br />
humanas básicas <strong>de</strong> amor e amiza<strong>de</strong>.<br />
