<strong>2022</strong> ISRRT<br />
Chesney Research Fund<br />
Call for Grant Application <strong>2022</strong> in the theme of:<br />
“Safety Culture in Action: Enhancing access to safe and<br />
appropriate imaging devices in practice”<br />
The aim of the ISRRT Research Fund is to promote research that helps encourage evidence-based<br />
practice and improve the standards of delivery and practice in medical imaging and/or radiotherapy.<br />
Starting in 2016, to commemorate the Chesney sisters who left in their will a legacy to ISRRT, the fund<br />
names was changed from the ISRRT Research Award to the ISRRT Chesney Research Fund.<br />
You are invited to propose a research project/proposal. The project may include improved or newly<br />
developed methodology or modification to standard protocols and procedures which may result in a<br />
sustainable or improved quality service in the respective discipline of medical imaging and radiation<br />
therapy. Applications with other themes are also welcome but priority will be given to applications<br />
following the proposed theme for <strong>2022</strong>.<br />
The grant is £1.500 (1 year project) £3000 (2 year project).<br />

The closing date for submission of grant application is <strong>August</strong> 31, <strong>2022</strong>.<br />
