Holly McClain and herhusband, Steve, and her sister, Tricia Wempe,created the exhibit. Santa’s sister showed up atthe Grand Meander and rapped with the SpencerHigh school Chromatic Jazz singers. ChadElliott’s ice sculpture of the Nutcracker ballerinawas a beautiful addition to all the art in thegallery. Niki Conover’s piano recital was perfect.Wreaths of neon, wreaths painted on canvas andeven one of golf balls were sold in a silentauction. Many thanks to the artists who createdthe wreaths and to the people who bought them.And a special thanks to Holly and her family. All the elves were a big draw during the Grand Meander. They got arave review from George Bower, at KICD. He said “It was the best window intown. Tapping on the window to see the baby’s eyes seemed to be a favoritepastime for adults who passed by the display.” Thanks elves.
