Foreword

"Midnight in the Garden of Peace" is an anthology inspired

by the World Literary Forum on Peace and Human Rights,

which is the only one of its kind. It is the reflections of human

thoughts in the form of verses that would plead melodically to

all the sentiment beings to exercise for peace around the world.

The anthology contains poems written by all the

international literary warriors who are inspired to strengthen

the international cultural heritage of different countries through

their literary work so that their writing promote the cultivation

of peace and peace through literature. It includes the divine

imagination of all the poets of the unity to support which would

eventually resonate the songs of peace that everyone waits to

listen.

5

midnight in the garden of peace

The anthology circle around the topic of Peace, Humanity

and Humanitarian which, at present, is felt as necessary to

repair the world a better place to live. The verse formed from

the anthology would be able to regenerate the minds of the

readers to reflect and transform oneself as its rich literary

meanings enables readers to decode their humanitarian heart

hidden in the paradigm of fantasy world. Simultaneously, the

inner soul of the reader would resurrect to explore the world

not traveled to find serenity within and would enable all readers

to change the way they look and listen to the world.

Thus, the anthology will cause every reader to relax,

think, enjoy and realize about their real spirit as it urges a

reverie and a deep introspection, that is like a dive, a fantastic

exploration.

Abundio Noel M. Libot

Let Them Be Themselves

Please stop forcing them to change their being,

That they may fit in the world of your dream,

Do not continue your pseudo-healing,

For they are well enough before you came.

Just bother not to look for something wrong,

It's their true melody, not out of tune,

Though it sounds different from the old song,

It is never a whistle of typhoon.

You may not witness the blood that they shed,

That you keep on pushing to the limit,

Beware, not every danger is in red,

And it may kill you if you step on it.

Please allow them be themselves, my friend,

Or just forget that you have ever reigned.

Different Horizons on Kabul

Who are the real terrorists,

I hope we fairly investigate,

Because allies are there to attest

What is in favor to their bet.

Something written in the history

Yet have different shades of gray,

The youth have limited memory

Just based on what the elders say.

Who are the heroes and the villains,

The answer will only depend

On who are the respondent’s friends,

They are the one they will defend.

Who should be there for the Afghans?

Which music would the people dance?

Is it the hymn of Taliban

Or the chants of the Americans.

Behind the Wall

Should I let my hair grow

As long as of Rapunzel,

Or wait any star to fall

8

international poetry antology

To wish for fairy tale

To be real,

So your heart could hear

The ringing of bells?

But my horizon is nothing but walls,

How could I see those meteors,

How could I wish as they fall?

Neither sunrise nor sunset,

Only the sun’s heat

For my body to sweat.

Life is free,

That’s what they say,

The, why should I pay?

Why build a wall between us

To forbade each other to see

The stupid reality.

You’re there, I am here,

We’re closer than whisper,

But to my wail

You never hear,

As poor voices

Are not allowed to enter

Your golden ear.

9

midnight in the garden of peace

Though I could not have

The treasure that you have,

But I am still worth of

Such treatment so smooth.

I am human too,

Just like you,

The wall between us,

Hinders you to know.

The land where the wall stand,

Could be a pavement,

To reach each other’s hands,

That together we can dance.

You need not to fear or shame

For our hearts are on flames,

Just listen to the rhythm

Our world would be a joyful hymn.

Rustle

There is a noise

Of a running stream,

As the water to the rock kisses

Like lips of her to him.

10

international poetry antology

There is a sound

Of the waving air,

It is out of tune,

Yet, I am longing to hear.

There’s a lullaby

Heard by my soul,

It makes my heart fly,

And in your love fall.

But all of these

Will just only pass,

Silence will be noise,

Be memory of the past.

There is ringing of bells,

Children run to play,

But another ringing of bells

Takes those children away.

There is a silence

Of the running stream,

The cool waving stream

No longer sing a hymn.

There is a goodbye,

There is an end,

11

midnight in the garden of peace

No more lullaby,

My soul used to listen.

But all of these

Will just past,

Noise will be the silence,

Be memory of the past.

The Reigning Pawn

I am holy as a saint

and wicked as a sinner,

I can be good or evil,

but nothing last forever.

I deserve no heaven,

yet I am not worthy of hell,

I am what I am,

neither a demon nor an angel.

I wish to be a king,

to have a kingdom of my own,

I have done everything,

but I can only be a pawn.

I am proud of my strength

and humbled of my shortcoming,

Recognizing both

is the great formula of winning.

We're the SEERS

Of those devils replicas

Idols

We always have idols

And we want to meet them,

Stay close and learn from them.

As time goes by, we become idols, too

For other people, who search one.

We become an example of moving on

And we change the perspective.

Instead of haters, let's have idols!

Poetry as a prayer

Is poetry a prayer?

Yes, it is.

Because the poet is praying

For a better world

18

international poetry antology

And he is revealing his soul,

Talking to God in rhymes,

Giving Him riddles to solve

And asking His unlimited mercy.

Escape

When my mind is a highest mountain

And I feel I can not climb it,

I go back to my soul

And make an escape

Looking for the blue sea and its waves

And for the need of vacation.

Beggars

Are we beggars,

If we search for love?

Are we beggars,

If we search for compașsion?

Are we beggars,

If we search for help?

Are we beggars

Or only souls in need?

19

midnight in the garden of peace

Who talks?

Who talks?Poverty or your heart?

When you give birth to a child

And you have no financial possibilities To raise him well

But your heart, your mother instinct

Tells you not to abandon your own blood

Because he needs you more than money.

Who talks?Think twice and do not have remorses!

sad monkeys crouched

at the edge of the clearing

and were thinking so hard

where to get bananas for today

curse of hunger

21

their stomachs were rumble

their faces twisted by a grimace

however, they do not give up

and were thinking so furiously

midnight in the garden of peace

the man cut down to the trunk

all banana trees in their area

for man, the animal's world

doesn't count any value at all

because of their thoughtlessness

because of their own private business

the curse of terrible hunger hangs

over the world of all wild monkeys

Man!

after all, you named yourself

a rational being, a master race

don't you?

come to your senses as it is not too late

before you bury all surrounding world

including yourself

Invisible

A little girl gave birth to her son in a dark alley.

Raped more than once by drunk hogs in human skin,

thrown out of her family home for lack of space and love

she had to be self-reliant from an early age

22

international poetry antology

She loved her son with the love she herself had always wanted

she hid him in the cradle of maternal arms.

She sang him lullabies,

taught him how to talk, walk and how to survive on the streets,

how to protect himself from rape, rain, and hunger.

Her son woke up in the morning

beside her cold, motionless body,

so lost, so scared and so lonely

in the jungle of a big city still remembering

her words repeated like a mantra

"When I'm gone, son, become invisible"

She didn't know it would happen so quickly,

so unexpectedly, that she would leave her son

broken-hearted like hers used to be,

she wanted so much to teach him to live

with hope for a better tomorrow

The invisible son will live like his mother,

a sad and lonely life

And when that last day comes

My Guardian Angel,

you have been walking through life with me

for so many years now,

giving me a hand when I fall down helpless,

23

midnight in the garden of peace

you protect me when I do not see evil myself,

and now there is so much evil in the world, so much

it multiplies, spreads, bleeds, and triumphs so fast.

Gods whom people have raised to the high pedestals,

they probably laugh loudly at humans' stupidity.

They are supposed to make only good

and teach love for one's neighbor,

it was the man who made them an instrument of war.

With the name of God on their lips, these "rational" beings

they conquered new lands, murdered, robbed, and raped.

Human history is written in blood and pain.

How many more cards we will be able to feel in it

before the last animal dies,

before we, people, will cut down the last tree,

before the fat belly oligarch throws in

to their unnecessary fortune the last bloody dollar?

before...

It might be the last lesson

just yesterday they believed it would be okay

they fought for every breath, for every sip of life

today rows of only empty chairs remind of them,

the cat mewing in the armchair and dog in tears

24

international poetry antology

loved ones should be close, but they were so far away

there was no one to hold their hands and tightly hug

now they lay lonely in rows of nameless coffins

in the middle of nowhere waiting for the grave

where did it all start and how it happened, who knows?

they say in China but are they really sure?

if there would not be the pursuit of money and power

there would not be so many hungry people in the world

there is enough money for bombs and space rockets

the food drowns in the sea by some madmen creatures

and their sick visions instead of feeding the hungry

although tomorrow, our world may cease to exist

it is still not too late to shake off the madness

to learn from this cruel and maybe last warning

first of all, people must be treated equally

the rest will slowly follow when you open your heart

And it was yesterday

Years go by and memories are lost in the fog

But still are just as painful

Yellowed photographs so often clasped to the heart

Remind us that they lived among us

25

midnight in the garden of peace

Grandmother had a long number on her forearm

She often said that it was her name

Given her by the baptism of war

I listen to the dark horror of her story

I close my eyes and see through hers

Through the eyes of a frightened child

A world that has been taken from her

without her consent

A world she received, although she did not want to

At night I pray for peace

I pray that my children never know hunger

That they may enjoy every moment

That they may build a future of their desire

Word of freedom

How sweet is the word freedom

As our lives want.

Let the storm and the sea be calm,

When the love in us blossoms.

In the field and poppies are caught in the choir

I am reborn in the spring under the temple of light

And they sprout under the sun.

They bloom under waiting rains with longing for fulfillment.

I am a word of freedom

I'm worried about the wind crying before the storm,

I found myself in the morning dew

Under the wings of birds flying to the sky and peace

descends to earth.

28

international poetry antology

The mystery of time

I listen to the murmur of time

When the green of spring sets

With a warm light in May

Open the window to untouched mysteries...

From the lost steps among the words

I still gather their spark, on the evening road

Late flowers fall from the silent oak

On the temples of the moment, with tender caresses.

When the night stretches its veil

Over the wall of night fog

The moon rises from undiscovered mysteries

Let your face shine through the leaves.

I walk in the shadows on paths of fire

What lies on the warm darkness

The white rains fall away...

What covers the silence of the earth ether.

29

midnight in the garden of peace

A bunch of peace

I follow the steps between east and west

The eyes look for the passage of time

From my magic universe

Between today and tomorrow a bridge of thoughts

I miss the beautiful braided smile

From the endless fall of love.

You are the word of every moment…

Breathing the fresh evening air.

I'm looking for a place to rest in the evenings

When the moonlight vibrates in the clouds

And the dream that appears wanders endlessly

Like a miracle written in your name.

Thousands of desires live among the lyrics,

The crows travel between me and you

And our circle opens to the horizon.

In our prayer of faith

God, suffer,

A tall bridge of multicolored flowers

Make a string of daisies out of tears

And for the poor a warm and soft bed.

30

international poetry antology

From every wound in my soul

God, make a blue star

And give him a new smile on his face

To illuminate the moments of eternity.

You are our path to serene horizons

You are our prayer for victory.

We gather your light from the darkness

We look up to your faith.

In the garden of peace

A dream was born between clouds and rain

It traverses thoughts like mountain waters

Clear and cold on summer days, under the magic of light.

The sun paints the horizon with butterflies of love

The wind blows through dew scented with linden flowers

He secretly caresses me with sublime music.

Vibrations under the sky of immortality, towards the

magical universe

Birds and butterflies in flight to new sunrises,

A tremor of nature with emerald sparkles.

I feel like I'm floating on the wings of the wind in the sun.

I carry faith in my soul like an expensive diamond.

I pray for peace on earth for the pigeons to fly free to the sky.

31

midnight in the garden of peace

I seek peace, tranquility and love, the proof of my existence

Our friendship, a rainbow of thoughts,

A covenant between heaven and earth.

A perfect sphere

He had missed me one morning

Looking for a gram of hope in me.

I see him pass by me silently,

Flapping its wings to the high sky.

It measures a dream in a silent world

And my eyes look with wonder,

In moments of peace and quiet

Raindrops fall on my shoulders.

A petal of thought in us unfolds

In tumultuous worlds under the burning stars

I try to save from love, a perfect sphere

Waiting on the threshold of the passing world.

Silence has long roamed the place

And the smile on his face settles slightly

Looking for words without regrets

Those that are inlaid are not visible.

Humanity

All of us are as a human being

We should have kept humanity for mankind.

Like - Love, Faith, Sympathy, Gentleness,

kindness, friendship, helping hand,

Or warming heart and sweetness voice.

Be the reason someone smiles

Never be hardful to others

Strong people stand for themselves,

But stronger people stand for others.

Love life and life will love you back.

Life will be violent and will be lost.

Be a donor, Devote your income and labour to other.

To define us as human being.

Enjoying the joys of others and suffering with them.

Be ashamed to die until

we have won some victory for our humanity.

Because memories of lives,

of our works and our deeds will remain for ever in the

material world.

There is nothing on earth divine except humanity.

All things in the vast universe exist in us, with us and for us.

We should be humble and simple by nature.

So, we think about universe

It is our country and the human family is our sweet family.

Dream for a batter world and for a batter humanity, not

for a batter car and bigger house.

Because walking with a friend in the dark is batter than

walking alone in the light.

Don't be the reason someone feels insecure.

Be the reason someone feels, seen, heard and supported.

Never, never be afraid to do

What's right, especially if the well- being of all the mankind.

Cry For Blaming Cake

Today I cry for my blaming cake

How to distribute

To anyone

Don't be same and shame

To others

It may be imposible

To share with others

For filling unwanting wants

To whome will be served

When I have insufficient

Blaming sweet cake

Now wonna life come

Too much lacking

Too much making

To turn waste

To take rest...?

War for selfishness

Who is ahead of whom?

Change yourself

I'm not sure who can change you

unless you retreat yourself and change.

Your lustful eyes spread the devious

fire from your awkward eyes.

Each and every activity of you,

your racial and ethnic discrimination and persecution,

peels your ugly designs to nudity.

43

Your exertions force me

to keep you away beyond the horizon.

midnight in the garden of peace

While I think of the sympathy I had for you,

makes me ashamed and my head bends,

for I have been contemplating in good faith,

waiting for your change on your own,

understanding the diversity as to arrive unity.

The ugly designs of your racial and religious aversion,

hatred shown on us and world community,

force me to question about your claim,

as to the existence of one Almighty.

You’re just a slave of territorial interests and power,

doing everything at the expenses of humanism,

paid for your cheap expansion businesses,

your unpleasant advancements are filthy.

You do lip services and pretense yourself,

as if having respect for,

culture, religion and race.

But reality reveals your dirty face,

having no regards for humanism.

You think you’re dignitary having high heritages,

only because you born wight,

Sailing not in the same boa

We are not sailing in the same boat

but struggling hard in lone distinct storm,

stuck in the corona pandemic hurricane.

Regardless of region, religion, race, ethnicity,

colour, caste, community and discrimination of unkind,

sustained throughout the human development,

this single invisible enemy virus amalgamated us one,

and struggle to cope with this malaise microbe.

Until this moment any Noah has been unseen,

to provide a sea liner guaranteeing insulation,

from this deadly pandemic and save everyone.

Threats to mankind all overcome tremendous

and achieved much progress in enormous,

the present challenge has never been met.

The squeal of humanity seeking a saviour,

seem alarmingly aloud and at extreme fringe.

Stay at home

When the global flood came, where were Noah and his

clan. When the three angels visited Abraham, where was

he, only at home.

When two angels went to Sodom and Gomorrah,

Where was Lot, very much at home. When the angel killed

first born of Egypt, where were the Israeli tests, at home.

Where were the apostles of Jesus Christ,

only at home they received the Holy Spirit.

Where was St.Paul when he received Ananias's visit,

Where should remain during pandemics, stay at home.

The light has come

Let's give our ears unto the berceuse of the Angels,

vocalised in the universal language of humanity,

composed in an unheard symphony for the new born,

super powers have come bowing down their heads.

The light swathes us leaving even an inch untouched,

meager we may be.

Let's forget the miserable past filled with pains and stains

unseen ever, formulated by invisible enemy virus,

this light will heal the wounds and chronic infections,

spread over this spinning globe revolves.

This light is born to save us now, the light has come to set

us free.

Let us rejoice soulfully and praise this everlasting light,

delivers promising good news,

new hope and faith.

Only you to love!

Even if you know that the palm of life darkens your sclera

And you don't taste happiness, just splitting fog,

Even if you are swallowed by the plague, typhus or cholera,

Even if you drown in the tub, just love no matter what!

Even if you see your lungs coming out, digging graves in

your chest,

And the nation throws you into terrible sin,

With the arms of the archangels make covenants,

Paying tribute with your own fate, still love deeply!

Even if the whole earth says they will spit on your baptism

And they will turn your whole being into torment,

Even if they sculpt with iron in their eyes, to snatch your creed,

Even if you will not be able to give birth to tears, still love

divinely!

52

international poetry antology

Even if everyone will laugh at you and throw you easily

In your too humble pit, you, mercilessly fallen,

Read nails in your mind and whiplash,

Ignore the unbelief, but love even a clay!

Even if they break the root of your tongue to dry up,

And they shall cut off you ear, lest you hear the baby's cry.

Even if they stigmatize your sad and cold face,

Do not borrow out of hatred, but love even then!

Even if they carelessly put you in jail

And in the eternal lava fire they will find your corner,

Wanting to melt your heart, when your soul snows,

Even if you are not a hermit, still love lonely!

Even if you know you're fighting death, being beaten in

just four boards,

Through the twinkle of pain, flying to a "Yes!" and a "No!"

Too rejected by the world and crucified in thought,

Even if everyone will hate you, but only you will love!

Renaissance

Life is gray, there are deep difficulties

And often you are disappointed,

Cause there is no one to flood your soul

And you run with painful and prolonged crying.

53

You approach your mother to help you:

Only she knows each part of you

But she can't lend you an idea either

And she can't even lay you on a soft crib.

midnight in the garden of peace

You are approaching a sister or a brother,

But each one is flooded with

Deep, separate weights

And each of them is immersed in endless thoughts.

You approach the friend who swore to you

Faith until your sad end,

But you see, he had already chosen

His friends through his modest begging.

You approach your shadow in silence

And you want to tell how helpless you are,

And filled with humiliation and pain

But it disappeared too. The shadow also served you very little.

You also approach the cushion between the hornbeams,

Being a wanderer, many years and every day,

To ask for advice, or to secretly confess

Your story, but the pillow didn't hear you either.

And then, disappointed, the thought comes to you

That it's all over, there is no solution you can find

But a light illuminates your face,

The thought cast by the Creator and his ray.

Laws of the universe

We live in a world built by laws

It is an honor to follow them, in reverence,

For who of the secrets will untie,

When everything gets too degenerate?

Whatever we send into the silent Universe

It comes back like a new boomerang.

Created is nothing: neither the air, nor the verse

And man is born with a lack of rank.

We make the change, by simple-acceptance

Of everything that happens to us on earth

And in a difficult evolution towards awakening

We also change the holy covenant of life.

We carry an honest burden on our shoulders

Of everything that happens in a human life.

The past, the present and a tomorrow terrify us,

They are tied in bundles like flowers in a tree.

We are thinking of only one deed,

At two we can't, it wasn't and it won't be,

And the rich mind, in the wise garment,

Learns through thoughts, through deeds to live.

55

midnight in the garden of peace

You can assume the present, if you know your past,

To learn from mistakes, to become thoughtful,

To combine the unknown with the lasting knowledge

And here, at present, unforced to return.

If you want rewards, gather patience,

Wreath to make from effort and energy!

And then you will not know of humble defiance,

Flying to heights, conquering galaxies.

These are imminent laws, unwritten doctrines,

But they come with a change that begins in us:

Let's be much better with others and with ourselves,

Let's end for ever the ruthless war.

Forgiveness

I ask for forgiveness and mercy

To those who betrayed me,

To those who wanted me to be upset

And to commit grievous sins.

Looking for tears in the churches

And unsanctified monasteries,

I sought high spirits - in clergy,

Anxiety - in poor martyrs.

56

international poetry antology

I ask for forgiveness and repentance

To those who have suffered

Because of my deed, out of unbelief,

Out of endless hatred.

From fierce and very hard lightning,

Appeared due to heavy ignorance

And spilled too ridiculous,

But, unfortunately, the earthling suffered.

I apologize for always wanting

To see ecstasy in foreign eyes

And that I have increased everyone's peace,

When I turned the second cheek.

At a glance or in the silence,

I have often subjugated many,

But it was just a simply wish

To stop spreading cruelty.

I ask for Forgiveness, beautiful world

From the town and the village,

The hair keeps getting covered in snow

Taking everyone’s youth away.

57

midnight in the garden of peace

Love yourself!

Just love yourself, always love yourself

Make a goal that was not and is not,

For life is a treasure and life is just one

And no more new seed of life will be born.

Destiny gives you too many demands,

Avoid the restrictions that you miss in your path,

And do not crawl on your knees and elbows,

Just because others want it all.

When you are asked to work hard,

It's simple: try to hear less,

And don't sink into deep agitation

And finally, learn decently to refuse.

You just have one life and learn to decide:

When you want to swim, go to sea.

When you feel acid insults attack you,

Just choose the shore for gentle calms.

Do not scatter the faith in the soul through the wind

And don't rush, anything is waiting for you:

Too null discussions or the passion of the gang.

And you want to change, but nothing gives you peace.

58

international poetry antology

Listen only to your soul, for it hurts you,

Do not listen to the one who betrays you behind your back,

Build peace in your nest so that it does not fly

And don't be a slave to humble plunder.

And those who were around you, if they leave,

Lay a beautiful flower bridge for them,

Answer them kindly, for they bent down

Love yourself, fly, live thrills!

Flowers in different colors...

Joy was gushing...

Hope..

In a theme room..

Crying in silence..

Powerless...

But...

Would the world

have a soldier like him..

Like her beloved son..

No...

Mothers hold this world...

In prayer for their sons..

Somewhere

Far...

In an unknown area

on the planet..

There was a heavenly beauty...

The sea was sunny blue

with tiny stars flashing after him...

The water was blue-green...

Like an emerald..

The children were playing naked

on the sand..

The mothers were sitting,

they watched them

with eyes full of love...

Suddenly a siren was heard...

Mothers and children

they started to run..

But..

There is a toy left in the sand...

Deeply buried...

Blood stains,

were lost in the

whiteness of the sand..

The sky and the sea came closer..

Hugs began to cry,

sadly looking like a mother,

which is still firmly

he was holding his child...

He returned...

Tears are shed...

The sky is crying..

The country is crying...

The treasure of love

I am looking for a world where love is celebrated

where gentleness grows in the fields of peace,

to remove even my own shadow

from nonsense of discord, hatred and unrest.

In my heart of dreams and light

there is a treasury of love for all people

and I cannot understand the reason for intolerance

towards other religions and nations.

One God, whatever someone called him,

created a heart to love and be loved

and to connect with another heart,

it does not matter which deity is prayed to.

My longing for the unity of souls

would like from to fly out of my a fiery heart and from the

chest,

it would like with smile and wisdom of mind

to awake divided world by love.

My longings with the cry of the soul pray for peace

68

international poetry antology

for a life where serenity and a smile unite people

i embrace all the strangers who love each other

eager for friendly warm hugs.

The world where love is celebrated

I will go easily through all traps and paths,

span the abyss with flower bridges,

to reach the souls that sensing beauty

in the sunny garden among butterflies.

In me, there is a hope like a fiery bird

trembling on the top of starry hills,

while I search for gentleness and purity of heart

beyond all evil and bitter sources.

I will look for a world where love is celebrated

in the far away of mysterious universe,

to clear the shade even of my own shadow

from fatal strife, hatred and unrest.

In my world of crystalline dreams

everything is love and smile and hope

and I don't want to know about the life we live in,

where meaningless division governs.

I'll be a prisoner in the tower of dreams

close to a rose, to a butterfly in flight,

while the divine ray as magical light

breathes in the meaning into my own world.

69

midnight in the garden of peace

Stunned by the illusion, unaware of time,

full of love that is forever dreamed of,

I LOOK FOR THE SOULS SIMILAR TO MINE

THAT IN KINDNESS SEE THE MEANING OF THEIR

OWN EXISTENCE.

We want sky woven of love

Hands in hands and gentleness of calmness

We want a one big chanted heart

But a secret force is dividing us.

Sky of love

A force which doesn’t let us live in peace

Which creates words of restless endlessness

By the mysterious power of an unreasonable mind

separating souls longing for hugs.

And we only want a smile of close beings

And a poem that intoxicate with beauty

We want a world of pure feelings

And for love we fight with spirit and goodness.

We fight with deeds of the noble, of the pure

For the unity of people with smiling faces

And beyond the pointless divisions and lies

We rise proudly like proud birds.

70

international poetry antology

Our longing is greater than any longing

It wants from the heart, from the soul, from the chest

It wants with wisdom and clarity of mind

To awaken the divided world with love.

The longing of my heart

I feel sorry for the turbulent planet

where meaningless divisions reign

and the soulless trample on people

that have always only dreamed of peace.

I feel sorry for the helpless souls

without a warm home to stay

because of the wars of the foolish

they wander the world hopelessly.

I feel sorry for the sick and the hungry

who do not experience decent life,

I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't have

a smile on their face and a sky of love.

My whole heart sings with prayer

to destroy hatred and revive hope,

to bring different nations together

and unity to rule the earth forever.

My heart fights forever for peace

with a warm song which radiates with goodness.

My heart on the clock of eternnity

beats only for love and humanity.

midnight in the garden of peace

Faith

Like the mercury in a thermometer

Faith too goes up and down

This morning one haggled

over faith at my home

Hunting here and there on the round earth

he came to me upset

and asked one thousand rupees

I too am not stinking rich

Every month I’ve saved money

To buy a dress for my better-half

My wife knows me well

if I buy the dress after some days it will do

But if I disappoint the man who has come to me

for help with the faith

that would be lost

I thought it over and

held out the one thousand rupees

On impulse my wife held me

in her arms and said

This morning itself

You’ve planted the saplings of faith

Well done

Affection for You

It was gleaming

with the gaze

Affection is dumb

Affection is deaf

Like a speaker it did not speak about

the matter

like a listener it did not listen to

Till the moment of parting

it kept waiting in the eyes

In the thick green

of the desolate woods

A tune is ringing faintly

Gazing at the eyes

I want to see

75

midnight in the garden of peace

Is it still alive

Oh dear

No way, no way

Cleaving the heart

comes out

a curious sigh

In the teary gaze

is it still alive

Chitralekha

Having painted on both eyes

suddenly vanished

Chitralekha the enchantress

She planted

in heart

the garden of Babylon

It is swaying

in heart

heavenly flowers are blooming

Everyday we hear

melodious calls of painted birds

You are the gardener

of the hanging garden

I know you won't come back again

Yet amidst the clouds

will be shining

the radiant smile of the sun

(Original Assamese poem titled “Chitralekha”)

Note: Chitralekha was the boon companion of Usha, the daughter of

the King Baan of the Sonitpur kingdom in Assam (India) of the

Mahabharata era. Chitralekha had magical skills at painting and

portraiture in particular.

Fry on funeral pyre for work pressure.

Shelters always in the core of heart's floor.

Rests with love ,affection and honour.

Blossoms even after death it's flower.

Peeps when it's face in poetry corridor.

May soothe the fans eyes and ears.

But wax can't for the social welfare.

If not taken proper practical care.

Jealousy, wickedness, hatred n hunger,

Take silently where complete slumber.

Neglect never, situation may be whatever.

Feed one n all ,find opportunity whenever.

Peace Instant

Oh God pass please light to dark pit.

Come not l have, to the holy site,

To jobless,a job to boost life's zeal.

How can you?

How can you bear the cry of a child

what trembles from cold and hunger?

How can you bear the weight of death under armor?

How can you see homeless families drowning in pain?

Even the tired mountains are on the verge of exhaustion

I believe in tomorrow to discover hopes

in places hard to find

In every corner of the world, a man is dying of tears

You dream and hope for peace on earth, when some

I think with my soul and dark thoughts

I would like to pretend to be a tree with many branches

to protect those in need, to be able to provide

tomorrow's safety,

To bring a ray of sunshine closer to comfort our lost souls,

Let's bring smiles, joy and peace to the soul.

Let's change this destiny, let's be united and love each other.

Look beside you and help a troubled man.

Too many dark thoughts

And too much rain

Hopes dried up in grays

Mix colors and dreams in us

God, it's too deserted outside

The world is deserted,

Sift the bedding

The wind can be heard in the streets

What a hiss in the tumult

God burns the earth too much

The Universe weeps through fire and weapons

People drained of strength

Beg the Universe

In the evening prayer

God, the pain is too great

And the pain too acute

God bless you

covenant

In your absence I kept the words; one crazy thought told

me to throw them away, another urged me to gather them

as the flowers gather their dew in the morning.

I hesitated not knowing what to do...

Slowly, slowly the feelings took over the saddened soul

urging him to dream - you were by my side; I stroked your

black hair smelling of jasmine and musk; the lips of the

rose moved almost imperceptibly drawing a - I love you,

fearful and yet so desired.

I kissed your eyes, a blue miracle pouring out their

gentleness and love.

What would I have wanted more? !!!

The moments spent next to you are a real imperial

paradise.

We clothed our love with the starry mantle of the night,

falling asleep in its peace and quiet.

The hours have passed, when?

At dawn they drew my dream - you were gone, but the

memory of a summer night and the smell of your hair

remained.

In my soul I will keep the aroma of jasmine and musk for

next summer.

Then I will invite you to the waltz and give you a

sandalwood fan.

The hands will come together and wear the ring - the only

covenant of our love before the Lord...

Until then I will gather the words and I will teach them to

paint blue, the silence...

Pray to God

I closed my eyes for a moment... all around was fog and

smoke - mothers desperately looking for their children;

children looking for their parents, brothers, sisters.

A terrifying commotion, fear and horror mixed with the

pain of torn souls.

I look up at the sky and shout:

- where are you God? !!!...

Lord, please think, holy peace come down to earth!

Enlighten me, Lord!

Enlighten me, Lord

I don't know where I am

On what road

What star

I want to arrive

What are you wearing?

So I can stop

I was listening to

What rains will come

To which source

To cool my heart

Give me peace from heaven

Reconciliation

The whole world is in the celebration of reconcillation.

In the silent hours of the night as I was watching the sea in

a full moon light.

I feel, the moon was in reconciliation with the sea.

There was whole flooded moon light over the sea.

The waves were jumping and dancing.

104

international poetry antology

As I walked towards the meadows nearby

I saw the whole sky with stars had hang over the sky.

They were in sweet reconcillation with the mother earth.

I heard the. whisper of the sky and earth.

Everywhere there was joy of reconciliation.

The mother bird comes to her siblings carrying food in her

beak.

As she approaches what happiness and jubilation of their

siblings.

The lark waits for the rain.

The lover waits for the beloved..

The lilly waits for the moon to open.

All the living being waits for the sweet partner for

reconciliation.

For, separation gives pangs.

And reconciliation gives pleasure..

And fills the heart with pleasure.

The Positive way of life.

The world is mysterious.

At times it so happens in life

Negativity fills our mind and intellect.

We feel deprived, depressed and dejected in life.

Life becomes too much painful.

We feel as if every thing is finished.

105

midnight in the garden of peace

There is no scope to rise.

Just as the caterpillar thought, the world is over.

Such type of negative thought grips our mind.

But at this junction, we must not

leave the job.

We must wait for a while and think positively.

This is God's world.

God will do everything for us.

Nothing is impossible

In the world.

There is always time for a good beginning.

Then with this positivity miraculously a surge of new sun

will rise with the

splendour of its smile.

All positivity will be flooded

within us.

We will feel ecstatic again.

Our inner soul will speak positive language

A sea of change will again envelope our life.

All blissful things will happen.

And make our life glorious.

Peace connects all buildings

The remedy of my soul is justification in work

Which must be equal and clear

Peace and tolerance will unite all around me selflessly

For peace can always save people from trouble

Tolerance of reason and unity in people

It should be generous and wonderful

For peace always unites all that I dream of

A clean body and a healthy mind of life

107

I, human must be prepared for everything

Because peace can be easily disturbed

And roses can always bloom in the field

Which will be fragrant and beautiful

midnight in the garden of peace

Life is the awakening; I have everything in life

For peace always adorns my courts

And does not allow them to disappear easily

Because beauties always have to be discovered

As midnight beats its time slowly

I often say that we are not humanitarian in fact

But I have that part in the bottom of the soul carved

Because if I share everything we have with others reluctantly

Means that we are again some people looking for a whistle

Sometimes people don't want to understand us because of

fellow citizens

But they don’t have to, because we are special people actually

Who help others at any time of the day or night

Bringing charity to other people next to us with a smile!

My happiness is the greatest

When I see others around me

How they treat others really

It makes me sad and ashamed

Because they have no desires like me

108

international poetry antology

To help the rainbow selflessly

To that peace when I close my eyes

Be equal in their black eyes

Which sorrows count for hours and days

Peace, the name itself drives me crazy

Because I know I was born with goodness

If others cannot be human for a moment

I know that my presence will help them

If the flower continues to grow properly and wonderfully

It means that it has a reason to live

And all with the harmony I give to the world

So I give people equal treatment

Sometimes many resent me for my behaviour

But I believe I am a special colors painted

And to have goodness from a young instilled

Because I don’t let people be sad

Either a little or a big help

I give everything I have from the heart

Because I know what it's like not to have a part of something

And lost in this piglet of paralyzed sorrow

I believe that everything has its weight and honest story

That’s why I don't like to be sad for others

109

midnight in the garden of peace

For the mine heart is always full always and coloured with

wonderful arias

Those too late wax colors of charity!

Peace at midnight

Peace unites people of dear will

Peace justifies all the means of beauty described

Charity to the perfect man always

Who is unwilling to give anything selflessly

A smile is enough for my happiness

For peace in the earthly regions is full of sorrow

I would really mean a lot if I could

Peace justifies everything we dream and want

We must love others around us

If I want my inner peace to be clear

We, people are selfless people who want to give a lot

And the best goal is through the little things

Which make others happy around us

In return, I must be generous and picky

Although I may not be like that at the bottom of our souls

I know that everything we create is desire

To be justified living beings full of beauty

Because peace must be special and clear

110

international poetry antology

Children should not be forced to do chores

Because the most beautiful event is when peace makes sense

And that everything can be achieved by agreement

Let love open all the doors of the gate

Heavenly paradise is open to us and always beautiful colors

Painted with golden strings and peace doves

That fly around us and hug us wonderfully!

Love spreads wings

It’s wonderful when I give a part of myself

I share happiness and sorrow with those

Who today remain alone in the world

And have no help from other people

They need my help now actually

Because it can never be otherwise

I have to be ready for anything

For I am the only hope in them, these people goodness

Forgotten without anything, hungry and thirsty

They seek help; it’s easiest to walk away from someone

That is why I who have a better position in the state

I have to give the maximum part of myself

midnight in the garden of peace

My happiness is when I see others happy around me

And when they capture my happiness with laughter

Which is always the best medicine of all

In a life that is transiently coloured

I have to help everyone around me always

Because I don't know who can need help

Although they are sometimes war stables or natural disasters

Always ready for anything at any time, day and night

I don't know if I will survive some things lightly

But that's why I know I'll be stronger than anything

For I am a hunter who is of the word

And I do not want others to die for me

Peace will always be achieved by clear-cut

I’m ready for it always

Although the consequences may be great

I know that anything is possible no matter what

May peace shine in the bottom of my soul

Because I can't be indifferent

When I see others around me

How much they suffer because of all the little things I have!

Inner peace of life

When I give I am a happy man

I don't expect people to hug me

In rural areas gardens grow and yield

Us a lot of good cereals and sweets

They are struggling, I give them money again

To feed themselves and their families

For it is little for one day or cycle of life

Charity awakens in me various memories

When I was a kid, I knew one thing

That all my life I will give everything I have

And that I will not seek evil in others

Because we are all evil in one part

Peace rules the world even though it has become hectic

I give everything I have and I don't have

Because my desire is when I see other people

How they rejoice in my successes

I hug all my wonderful little memories

I don't want them to run away from me

For peace in the yard always after a day of fatigue

It gives me pride to do a lot of things

113

midnight in the garden of peace

I work day and night for such people who need help

Because the biggest mistake is to walk away from someone

And with me it is not questionable for a moment

Because I love all people even though they don’t love me

sometimes!

* who am I *

Who are you and who is he?

I'm a human

When did the colors separate us?

Your skin color is like honey

And an abundance of tenderness

The whiteness of your skin is like a cloud

And the tone of melodies

When do we differentiate skin colors?

Our unity is safe

And our brotherhood is reassurance

When you bleed

Heart and artery palpitations

The word of truth rises and the lines are written

Me and you for peace title

Peace is not different for the two of them

And religions are not divided

When the church bells ring

ears hear

We are two sides of a coin that are not different

* sky crying *

The tragedy of the sun bathed in beautiful eyes

The murmurs of the chest flattened the sky

Spring slept on the surface of the earth, its drums beating

for peace

Offerings of dreams poems floating on the river of

immortality

Deliberately leaving the world

The dimensions of the void shook in astonishment

These doses of Poetry are not enough

To reduce desertification of ideas

Silence broke out crying from the horror of the pain

Your parts are dead...

And you're lying on a bed succumbing to this displacement

The smell of boiling pots of human meat pervaded the place

Mouths demand their strength...

O you who sleep in this blackness, loosen the bonds of life

* Peace *

How can you kill the feeling

of non-existence inside you...

Defeat the dark thoughts

that creep into your depths

117

midnight in the garden of peace

How do you fight insomnia anximety?

And that spectrum that inhabits your room

How do you get rid of a spider?

Who weaves its threads at a corner

of your idea

How can you scream at the top of your silence?

she says

I want to live in peace

It was just a confession

* wings *

Why are you suffocating me in rhyme?

Give your words wings to fly high

Did you ever meet me?

Yes, you are a cloud fleeing from a dream

When we were allowed to dream

Did you leave the sky?

No, I didn't leave her...

She broke up with me..

she was in pain

She was forcing me to rain

I lost my strength

It's too much to repeat that with me

Do you desire death?

118

I bless the smell of death

If it is for this dirt

did you love

It was more than that

I feel unconscious

between two palms

The first scattered roses

The second plays the melody of immortality

It's like this hoarseness is a musical note

lost from the cut

I wanted to play it a long time ago

are you breathing

You are an antenna above this earth

Watery... wine...a nd a piece of bread

are you alive?

Addiction to your perfume makes me feel

circulating blood in a vein

Who are you?

I am the shadow of that fugitive cloud...

Who are you?

I am a dream written on paper

Birds of a Feather Flock Together

Birds of a feather flock together,

Not to cause a storm

But all together united in their desire

To spread love, peace and compassion everywhere.

Then when they get together

They love their tight union

Like the fresh bread on the table

They liven up the world.

Wherever they get together in the world

They’re brothers to humanity,

Temperance and kind words,

Not to malice and greed.

They learn to live a good life through their journeys

And the Lord is protecting them,

He knows that those that get together

Do good and spread it everywhere.

The Longing for Peace

Peace, you’re the white rose of goodness

That embellishes Earth and the whole world,

You’re making the sun rise for me

You’re making the moon come out for me at night.

Peace, you’re a magic word

From the heavens above to the earth,

My thoughts are meeting you

And we’re intertwining under the blue sky.

Peace, thaw the world’s frozen heart,

So that it will never forget you,

Be our gentle permanent peace

And remain our light forever.

Be my friend and longing to the world

And be helpful to the whole world,

Embellish the sky and the earth,

May your mission and word be holy!

Love Conquers Love

I’m constantly looking for justice

And it’s hard to find,

Youth is idling away with each passing day

And I never gained my freedom.

123

midnight in the garden of peace

Peace, you’re the song of the bird

Oh, beautiful song of the nightingale,

Who are you waiting for?

Give us peace, the moon and the sun.

Choose the freedom of life

Let’s be victorious too,

Revitalize the years of our youth

To be the brave heroes of love.

Let there be flowers, let there be life

And worldly paradise,

If there isn’t life on earth

Don’t go looking for it because you won’t find it!

Mother and I

I’m writing to you from the cradle,

I want to see your face

Before you turn into a desert,

To not lose hope.

Peace echoes through my poems

In all foreign languages,

I want to spread love,

I want people to be friendly.

124

international poetry antology

Many insidious people

Are clipping our wings every day,

Many people are deceiving us

Making us shed a flood of tears.

Peace, where are you hiding?

I want to see your face!

I know that it’s too much hatred in the world,

But I want you with all my heart!

With Every Sunrise

With every peaceful sunrise

Love brings more light

Life is chemistry and energy

It flows smoothly through our veins.

The universe is our connection

Let it be our inner peace

It never hurts the man

That glorifies his mission.

Live harmoniously, man

In the universe of your creation

Let the flame of life caress the countries

Every time the sun will rise.

125

midnight in the garden of peace

Never be deceitful

Like the wandering cloud, man,

May you be like the spring water

That is kept in the longing soul.

For Peace

We need a lot of willpower

And an absolute global unity,

For everyone to shout loudly,

“Long live Universal Peace!”

Peace is the blue flower,

Peace is our mother

And a consolation to our hearts

Like the rays of the sun.

When there’s peace, there’s understanding,

Love and compassion are sweet,

If there’s peace on Earth,

The people retain their dignity.

May peace be the supreme master

Of the old and new world,

Love peace confidently

For the welfare of the world!

126

Make Peace!

Make peace as regular as clockwork

And don’t make things worthless,

Open the gates to peace

And close the gates of death.

Let life and love

Pass through every heartbeat,

Let mother pass like the sun in the daytime,

Let silence pass like the moon at nighttime.

The light is love all the way,

It expresses the desire to love,

It’s joy and forgiveness

And the rise of humanity.

The light of peace is light,

The light of the wisdom of the world,

Peace has to be holy

And not how the enemies think of it!

Appreciate Humanity

Appreciate humanity and peace

And protect them from harm

With love, generosity,

Compassion and constructively.

127

midnight in the garden of peace

Peace is the call of hope

For the harmonious society,

The drop that awes the hearts

And that shines beautifully.

Understanding draws honor

Like a flower in all its splendor,

It brings glory, happiness,

It revives it and it brightens it.

Peace smiles at people,

It’s tenderness over the hearts,

Peace smiles at springs

And makes people triumph.

Open the Doors

Open the doors and let goodness come in,

So that God can smile at us,

Love is deeply sympathetic,

Don’t use your mind for bad purposes.

You have to love to understand life

Give her a passionate kiss,

So that you could taste

The good radiant happiness.

128

international poetry antology

Goodness paints the faces of the flowers

And brings a smile on men’s faces,

Let’s be born of great love,

Let’s proudly wear it under the sun.

Let the azure enter in your soul

Love is in the words and harmony,

Be who you are, brother,

Genuine noble love.

To Me

To me, my native land,

Romania is a pure language

Nothing is more loving

Than my blessed country.

The flag reminds me

About my country’s daring deeds,

The lands are deep longings

I didn’t leave to another country.

When the sun is rising in the morning,

I say, “Good morning, My Native Land!”

My mother tongue has a mellifluous voice

And my nation is faithful.

129

midnight in the garden of peace

In my Dacian 1 country,

Bread is made just by saying the word wheat,

The love for my country is like a flame

And the native land is a home in times of peace.

1 Geto-Dac in the Romanian text (n. tr.).

Peace

I would always put you beside me,

As I travel on the path of my life,

I would cover your soul with love

To have a longing for you forever.

I would plant you in every corner of the world

To feel your taste of bread

I would want to look fondly at you

And to love you day and night.

I would want to hear you in the songs of the birds

And to see you in the red poppies on the field,

I would want you to be with me during springtime

And to be the joy of my entire life.

I would want you to sleep with me,

So that I may embrace you when I’m longing for you

I would want to have a wonderful life with you

With the entire universe from earth to sky.

We Need

We need peace

For the meek children,

We need peace

For the poor fellows.

We need peace,

Eternity shouts in the universe

That it’s so much blood and death

That they’re howling like crazy.

We need a lasting

Absolute peace

We need peace

And the infinite light.

We need peace

And an altogether good world,

We need life

And eternal holy love.

Should be expected.

Your honesty is the identity of your humanity.

Equally in love is the quality of your humanity.

Death scares me all the time.

Society is scaring me.

People are scaring me.

The government is scaring me.

All the news channels are

scaring me.

If I keep my eyes on the newspaper,

We don't know when this fire will be extinguished?

But I don't get scared so easily.

No one is giving me courage.

I made myself brave.

When he was three years old,

his mother fell into a ravine and was

hospitalized for six months before dying.

The journey from childhood to adolescence was spent without the

wings of a mother, which is difficult to describe in words.

He has written many poems in English for children. And also raise his

voice through pen for peace in the world.

Would That I Were A Cuckoo!

Would that I were a Cuckoo,

And fly in the cool blue sky,

And look down to and fro,

Searching for people who are hard-hearted,

Stubborn, emotional and destroy Peace.

With my soft melodious song,

I would awaken the music of peace,

Once more in their hearts.

Change Of Time

The evening shadows were slowly lengthening. And I was

passing through a forest.

The ants were looking for their food.

At the same time they were whispering to each other.

After a while a bird came flying.

He started eating the ants.

Some would crawl into their burrows to save their lives.

The bird flew away after filling his stomach.

A few hours later when I passed by again,

The bird lay dead there.

And ants were making it part of their diet. Unfortunately,

it doesnot take long for time to change.

The Peacock

In a beautiful dense forest,

By the stream, I did rest.

Saw a colourful peacock there,

To quench his thirst, came here.

His break was sharp and eyes were round,

Legs were long and body was sound.

His voice was very sarcastic and sweet,

With poor and needy, he liked to meet.

Half fed himself and half fed the neighbour,

He taught to count children one, two, three and four.

138

international poetry antology

He started to show his dance to everyone,

And he enchanted the whole atmosphere done.

He was proud of his pretty face,

Liked the truthfulness, peace and grace.

Then he spread his long tale like out a fan,

All started swinging children, young, old and man.

He did not let sad hearts get bored with his dance,

Sometimes he would get tired by chance.

My Greatest Achievement

There was a dove's nest on a tree by the river.

In the nest there was a nestling.

The nestling fell into the river,

with his nest due to strong winds.

And began to dive into the river.

Seeing this scene, the dove was sighing and moaning.

And was tormented in a world of helplessness.

I immediately jumped into the river.

And saved the nestling of dove from drowning.

And handed him over to the dove.

I was very happy to save his life.

Saving the nestling was the greatest achievement of my life.

hungriness for innate right of freedom, to get which the

young are always ready to sacrifice everything, leaving

their homes becoming fighting horses, scattering roses of

blood on their thorny roads

Because the thirst of freedom is stronger than the love of

their beloved

for what they await as draught waits eagerly to hear the

rainy songs of summer

Freedom, which becoming hope of rays of the sun, walks

on door to door of the darkness of eyes of the exploited

people, peeping the helpless through

theirt leaking roof of huts

Becoming dreamful moon at night, bloating the sweating

checks of the tired working people, the moon sings

lullabies melodiously, inviting sleep for the hungry

children

153

midnight in the garden of peace

Freedom, hearing whose sounds, the wall

of darkness in silence is bound to be broken down, then

wearing feathers of birds, hopes and dreams fly to the high

singing the songs of the sky, celebrating the rhythm of

freedom

"Bridge"

My most favorite man made is

Bridge

I have faith on all the bridges

On which the people came and go

From one bank to another

Along with them their customs

Civilization and cultures are

Abridged

Standing on a bridge

Leaning against the railing

I like to see me in the mirror of the river

Sometimes I enjoy the race of cockboats

Of midge

another time spreading fishing nets towards the

edge

154

international poetry antology

Most often when I think about

the workers who put on pillers under the deep water

Then my heart becoming to

freeze

Unfortunately while a bridge blust

by black hands then lives of the both banks bleed

And ceased

Yes, there are available Sand stone and

beaks to repair a broken bridge

But it is not easy to rejoin or reconstruct the broken

conjunction

between broken hearts of

humen bridge

So I am standing as a Knight

With a sword of words

On the bank of the river of humanity

To defend kindness and fraternity

For which I make me

Pledge.

midnight in the garden of peace

"I am aspiring"

My eyes are always in appentency for a rain bathed azure

blue sky

for flying my bird of will there which is free of bondage

free of boundaries

free of flood of innocent blood

free of pollution of bombard

no warhoop heard from anywhere

no unwanted oppressions suppressions

My ears are foraging to not hear the

crying in the wilderness of the hoi polloi migrated to unknown

land only to save lives from unexpected cyclone of time

not to hear the screaming of birds and howling animals of

forest, becoming

homeless for occupation of terrorism and enviousness

Pathetic scenes of mountains make bleeding by nails of giddiness

lamenting rivers which are making breathless for garbage

throwing by the selfish senseless

cultivation fields devouring by skyscrapers

always hurt my heart

Hence I am aspiring in the convergence

of the commiserations of sea and magnanimous sky for an

ocean of

super sovereign beningency for the earth which will be

reawaking from the specific word human

"My Will On This Birthday"

Today on the first full moon of the spring

I am arriving on your golden seashore

Where my heart is echoing

Since the my first spring of life

Being a costermonger

Keeping my heart in a silver vessel

Guided by the soul of my demsel

In quest of a faithful consumer

I have been wandering

Following the wheel of time

Ignoring the call of crime

Showing the seeds of love

I am arriving the land of hymn

Yes, my mother's soul

Told me to become bold

And to beware of the market

Where life can be buyed and sold

157

midnight in the garden of peace

Today is the specific first spring

Suitable for me to make my will

For handed over and taken over

Weting in the flower's shower

You please do the unsigned sign

Giving me a costless cost

Assuring me with your

Voiceless voice

As I am standing face to face

On your seashore

You pl see where

My heart is mirrored

Which is hurted by the

Heartless arrows

You can view the wounded part

Floating in the time and tide

Fighting with the shadows of night

Without compromising with the

Storm and thunder

I have committed

A lots of blunder

Yet my heart has not lost it's purity

I have saved simplicity and fertility

158

international poetry antology

Which will be lead to the divinity

For which I have given you authority

You embrace my holy river

Inside your wavelet feathers

As in my river of blood

There are no division

In the name of different religion

You take my evergreen forest

Of my purified heart

Under your long breath

Where there is no separate regions

Spreading to the last horizon

You may think that I am lunatic

No, never, my heart is still poetic

Hence I am ever romantic

Please let my twilight sky

Find all dreams in your eyes

Who knows how to honour your dignity

In you vast ocean of humanity.

O Peace! For your Realm to Sparkle

O, peace! Where have you gone to?

Steadfast to prevail and conquer,

The ever virulent corona that exist.

All lambs are bleating high,

Some are already gone apart.

We are holding up in trust

For you to show up and guard.

Tears are moving like the Nile,

Maybe 'cause we lacked in dignity

Or our disparity in actual live action,

That ever made you to leave.

No more peace to see anymore,

It appears to be bleak all over,

In your absence all got fagged.

Come in fairness to embrace all,

We implore you in veraciousness,

Our spells are echt from the heart.

Come to conquer the mortal corona

And restore the peace that we had

170

international poetry antology

Of euphoria and gaiety always close by.

Our promise of regard to cultivate forever,

To each other in quality and equality,

In your realm to sparkle in haziness,

Like the moon, so unadulterated and superb.

Let the Devil be in Devil's Shape

Satan has arrived, unique makeup, it owns,

In every household and in every country.

We are to melt our heart as fast as candles

And to see our shelters floating like an ark,

The revenge, so tactical and gradatory to take.

The regard, high in simplicity to declare,

By us being reliant, chartless to reality behind,

Not in the flesh like to Cain, through Enoch,

But had come in different sorts at once for all

Pledged to fulfill the promise made to God.

The devil, smart as a whip seemed in human

To use them as a golem to wipe away forever

And to make eviternal waste; a pliant nature,

That don't crumble to dismantle it abruptly

For its awaiting might to usurp God's earth.

171

midnight in the garden of peace

Poles weep with rage owing to dim hopes,

By an inch to climb down, too weak to stand

And the warmth of mingy air harsh to rub it

Under the fiery sun, an ark to float roughly

Due to men in devil's mind to ruin and vanish.

Let the devil be in devil's shape, always feeble,

Ne'er to win, but God's plan to shine for all,

With the united hands to create new Eden

To relish the gifted nature and to let it glisten

So that the snow persist, air to stay fresh.

Syllabus of Ants

In the colony, I see ants so integrated in lives,

Sociable by nature, in communities underground.

Like sheep, they're steered by their shepherd

For mucho eggs to lay and to build the nation

Like a train to march and to entrepot eatage

Not for their kind alone, but for other livestock too

For vitality to come and hold the ecosystem

In the colony to subsist and to take in respect

Through global mind to shine through equality

Compassion, being their mission of unity.

The syllabus uniquely patterned for livelihood,

Free of ego, envy, jealousy, racism and hatred

172

international poetry antology

For the communal desire hides in every brain,

Peace being their common goal, free of conflicts.

Alas! What I see loosely of my kind are unkind

With the scattered syllabus; no more on clasp.

We call ourselves human of superior ability,

But our abilities, matchless to the tiny's home

In any account to count filled with inequalities.

I beg you, oh human, better pray to your idol,

To solace you to get hold of their forms and visit,

And to incur their education, not what we practiced

Back again for a newer syllabus to design

For a better world to build, more adept than theirs

Or else, they shall spit on us for our deeds.

The One and Only

The one and only;

those mentally vacillant;

enervated in the verdict

to chase their life, fancy impuissance in others

no other things that are decent

'Cause when he sees others doing well.

The rusty dust gets in his optics

and shouts at the tip of the high hills.

Withal, he persists the black sheep,

among those people who're wise and industrious.

Have such people continue with their will

to cut into the hole, deep enough until the hell

with their typical mind that suits their deeds

not to be fitted anywhere among anyone.

Solidarity of Minds

Peace isn't far if credence becomes alive,

Like the bond that show up in the rainbow high slants.

The world, so deplorable in its affection in contrasts,

Of shades of various cultures to exhibit its worth.

Ay man! Wake up, raise your brain before the nightfall,

With the light confined by, to break all lacks, of concern,

Of convictions and social orders that exist to parcel all,

Away from God, for shrillness to welcome.

Such flawed gauges, to benefit man, capacity to come,

To immingle among all reasons, all living in the double,

Away from uneducated traditions, so unrealistic real

For heftier bonds to fix, yet for a better future.

The cross in confidence, ties those dissimilar to mend,

Wake up man, joyfully after, for better stroll towards ages.

midnight in the garden of peace

A sudden storm

She came unexpectedly,

like a sudden storm

and conquered the world

with great speed.

At first we thought

she was made up,

then she wouldn’t come to us.

And she arrived like a tornado

destroying everything in front of her.

She doesn't care

about name, nation, or religion.

She doesn't choose who to mow.

In this war,

she is on one side

and the whole world on the other.

It isn’t easy to fight

an invisible and unknown enemy.

She kills in a row,

forbids hugging and socializing.

The world is united

in this unequal struggle.

There are many heroes,

but also too many victims.

Prayers are heard

in all the languages of the world,

176

international poetry antology

for all the victims,

for all the brave saviors.

And now,

after a year of pain and fear,

we hope the end of the pandemic is near.

When one day

all this becomes a thing of the past,

will the lesson be learned?

Will we remember

how important touch is,

how important a hug is,

how we are all equal in death

and that we should be equal

in life as well?

Golden flok

I swim on my back and sing an old song:

"Is it nice, is it nice, ... my seagull."

Above me, a flock of tame pigeons

flies over the lake in regular formations.

I notice that not everyone is white.

Pigeons of different colours fly together.

The sun is in the west and is very hot,

its rays illuminate the flock

and the colours of the birds change

as the angle changes.

177

midnight in the garden of peace

At one point they become all golden.

A beautiful sight.

Their golden wings flicker

and resemble fireflies on a summer night.

The sky is crystal clear,

golden dots flicker above us

and thought is born,

there is enough sky and sun for everyone,

and, under them, we are all equal and,

as such, golden.

A little more to last

Nights and days,

joys and sorrows,

birth and death,

gray and purple…

Everything spins in a circle,

goes and comes.

We are scared, excited,

tired, happy sometimes.

But,

no matter how hard

is the ride,

we don't want

to get off that carousel.

We want to be a part of it,

178

international poetry antology

a little more, a little more ...

And no one knows

how much time he has left.

And no matter how uncertain it is,

we are surprised

by the stop

and we are unprepared

for the end.

We are thirsty

for another drop,

another moment,

before we are covered in dust,

before we are enveloped in silence,

A little more, a little more,

to last.

Let's go to the light

Ladies, gentlemen, indecisive!

What's the problem?

There are no difficult decisions.

Decisions are easy.

Do you know why?

Because every time

we already know the solution.

179

midnight in the garden of peace

In the dark,

nothing moves forward.

We can always disappear.

Let’s try to live on planet Earth.

We need to fight

for goodness in ourselves

because we have to pass it

on to others.

Let's stop competing

in search of fun

in someone's defeat.

Let's head for the light!

Peace

Let peace flow as fast as a mountain river,

let it warm like the warm rays of the sun!

Let peace resound like a song,

let it grow like ivy along the walls!

Let peace spread like air,

let it spill like rain!

Let peace fly high like an eagle,

let it go fast like a train!

180

international poetry antology

Let it spread like good news,

let it fall out of all hands!

We all need peace like a song, like water,

like the sun, like air ...

We need it fast, very fast,

and it should last, and it should last!

Peace in the world, peace with God,

peace in the soul, peace for all!

You don't need a lot

Do you know how small you are

when you prove your greatness

to someone smaller than you?

Do you know how weak you are

when you show your strength

over someone who is weaker than you?

Do you know how cowardly you are

when you show your courage by overcoming those

who are more powerless than you?

When you respond to a gentle word with a curse,

when you respond to caressing with rudeness,

when you respond to the love given by ignoring it,

what do you expect?

You’ll get fear in view, humility and retreat,

a false image of power and strength.

You’ll get everything, but don’t expect respect.

181

midnight in the garden of peace

You need so little to be great, and strong and brave!

A kind word and a gentle touch are never too much.

Hope is all we need

Day after day, year after year,

the door opens for new things.

We cling to the old and the familiar,

while waiting to see what life brings.

It’s hard for those who live in fear,

when they are afraid of future mornings,

who are afraid of change and, to them,

every day is similar.

It’s important to enter the new tomorrow with a smile

and embrace the future as an adventure.

Life passes at such a speed.

To continue the race, hope is all we need.

It’s a difficult path

We see neither a sunny day nor blossoming valleys

when our head is full of problems and worries.

And in vain the sun that smiles and the distances that call,

in our minds it’s always night and always fall.

We carry our head with us wherever we go

and our thoughts go with us, and our sorrow.

It’s a difficult path and the struggle is unceasing,

182

international poetry antology

but such is life, eternal battle and struggling,

striving to break the darkness,

striving to overcome loneliness.

And the desire to light our way on a bright day,

that there are no obstacles in our way.

It’s hard, but the goal pushes us forward.

There in the end, only in the end, are success and reward.

There is magic

There is something miraculously beautiful

in the poet's mind,

in how he lowers words into colorful pearls,

magical pearls that understand other souls,

cling to other hearts and ennoble them.

There is a magical way in which poetry

manages to touch those who love it.

It’s a magic that cannot be explained by science,

that the poetic soul understands when it’s by itself,

in silence.

There is also a miracle above all miracles:

with one push of a button,

the beads of verse begin to fly

and fly around the planet.

The world of poets

183

midnight in the garden of peace

becomes a world without borders,

and such a path is light for others.

What a wonderful feeling!

A poet sends away his precious pearls,

knowing that hundreds of hearts,

all over the world,

will open to embrace them.

Then loneliness is no longer loneliness,

then sadness is no longer sadness,

wounds don’t hurt so much,

because the touch of poetry is the healing touch.

The flow of words

I keep the words in my bosom to ripen,

to each be crystal clear,

clear as a clear sky, then,

when their time comes,

to be ready and come out of me

in perfect order.

I choose words

like you choose roses for a bouquet of love,

to be fresh and fragrant,

so that when they flow,

184

international poetry antology

they flow like fresh spring water

that you drink.

You drink and you never have enough.

I look for words to lower them into pearls.

Sometimes it's easy

and sometimes they run away from me,

and I have to catch them.

Words are like a fertile garden

full of flowers and fruits.

Sometimes there are weeds in that garden.

They should be carefully picked

and placed in a heart basket,

cleansed of thorns and toxins.

When it's so pure, the word heals

and the wounded hearts drink it thirstily.

When the right hour comes,

my words will flow,

harmonious as a rainbow,

gentle as the whisper of leaves.

Love life

Life takes and life gives,

but love lives in all of us.

185

midnight in the garden of peace

And just when we think it disappears,

in a new form it appears.

It’s there in the spring day,

in the scent of flowers,

in the sunset and on the clear night sky

when the stars wink at us.

Love is in children's smiles and their games.

We fall in love

and want to burn in that flame.

And when we are separated,

love lives

in our heart,

in our memories.

It’s in the smell of food,

in the sound of the waves,

in the yellowed photos,

in old melodies.

No one can kill love

or replace its trace.

Love is what we all need

to embrace.

Peaceful mind

A tranquil mind generates power.

If all we see isn't the darkest hour

We see ourselves hapless and meek

Within seethes a conviction, we aren't weak

191

midnight in the garden of peace

As everything will come to pass

Even our engraved personas wouldn't last

This situation is temporary and a solution will come

When we least expect it, optimum results we welcome

No matter how bad the situation is

There is just one who will never miss

as His omnipotence ends all anguish

For inside the pit of lamentations we needn't languish

God's mercy and grace is all we need

To be totally emancipated from man's greed

To trust Him with all our life

As from His palm we reap our blessings so rife.

Genuine kindness

Life is never easy

As it's a painful process

Every day is a struggle

Every moment is a step towards our graves.

Every happening should be charged to experience

Yet it's beyond our comprehension

To know why some lay on a bed of roses

While others lay on the mud

We all live in a human society

192

international poetry antology

Where the ideal existence is to be humane

Worried lest I'd be starving, I'd give

I'm guided by a conscience that breathes

And feels the misery of my fellows

It goes beyond material aid

Having a listening ear,

A tight embrace,

A warm smile,

A nice pat on the shoulder or my mere presence

Can do wonders

Can move mountains

Simple gestures for my heart's simple treasures.

Small acts of humanity

Humanity is more than just being a philanthropist

It is that trait of being humane in an inhuman society.

As nomads of the modern world,

We fail to realize that we live in excesses

We have so much of everything we wanted

At any moment Having a heart that shares to the needy, is

humanity

Being selfless in the midst of our personal predicaments,

is humanity

Feeding the hungry on the palm of your hand, is humanity

Being a person for others, is humanity.

Selfless love

The Living Saint

As we regarded her

Her heart and soul

She relentlessly offered

She served the poor,

The sick and the dying.

She opened the door

For the blind, the aged,

The disabled and lepers.

She extended unconditional love

To every being in the slums.

Mother Theresa,

truly you are A Goddess in disguise

Your altruistic nature will never be forgotten.

Measure of true success

Adding titles to your name

You thought would bring you fame

Attaining degrees in school

Wouldn't make you less of a fool

The essence of true success

Is purely on humanitarian causes

A man is revered for good deeds

Lauded for feeling every heart that bleeds

194

international poetry antology

Humans are we as God made us

To pity the hapless without a fuss

A little act of compassion

Is always a humane reaction

We have a lifetime to amass wealth

A heart to sustain anyone's health

Lest we'd be hungry, let's give

For we never know 'til when they'd live

Cultivate in our core, the zest to share

As what the word needs is our care

Help wholeheartedly whenever, wherever

Ditch selfish interest whatever the weather.

Beautiful world through my eyes

The world is a beautiful creation of God with full of nectar.

The sky is full of nectar

The mountains are full of nectar

The streams are full of nectar

The green woods are full of nectar

The flowers.

The earth

The ocean

The rivers

Where ever I am looking

through my eyes I am looking nectar.

We people are to receive

the nectar from the beautiful earth

to enjoy it.

Nothing is in the world

which is unsuitable for you.

If you see in the good eyes

everything you will look good

for you and

If you see in the bad eyes

everything you will look bad.

Nothing in the world is bad rather

Everything is good and full of nectar

Since the world is a paradise and

We are it's inhabitants,

We are so fortunate that

you have born in the Womb

of the heavenly mother and

we will sing the song

for the greatness of it

Every nation should respect the sovereignty of others

Every nation should respect the peaceful coexistence

Every nation should respect the sentiments of others.

No country should keep colonial thought.

Now We are moving towards third world war.

This may happen only for boarder disputes.

Which is totally brutal and inhuman.

Everything would happen if the third world war occurs.

Nothing will remain alive.

Only destruction

Therefore we should leave misconception like

It is yours, that is mine.

Nothing is yours

Everything is of the God.

This is the misconception of the narrow minded

Peaceful coexistence

All the old is an one segment as created by God.

It is a gift of the nature that thousands of mountains,

rivers, large forests and many sea beaches.

Man has no contribution in this creation.

We are all his Sons and daughters.

Everyone's body consists of blood and flesh.

On the basis of nationality, creeds, place of birth, colour

we are all equal before the law of the nature.

God has never discriminated areas to areas and men to men.

Discrimination is a man made concept with compact minds.

We are all one one traveller of our life journey.

Since we are the traveler of the same destination

The entire world should be free from boundary.

Death of Humanity

Hearts beat

For the pain of

the death of democracy

Missing the humanity

Hearts that bleed from

suffering so much.

Suffering from internal pain

What is going on now ?

The mother earth is feeling heavy

Crying sitting alone

Whom to kill and whom to keep ?

The mother earth has given birth

To gentlemen and wickeds.

Can't understand what to do

In this circumstances,

Notorious are beating.

202

Killing, kidnapping and

Stealing in the day light.

No action against them,

The government is silent and

Due to maladministration

The leadership is Failed

The intellectual civil society

Is undone.

The gentlemen are afraid of it.

Crazy to find the good path

Anguished hearts.

When God will take incarnation

To save the gentlemen

And demolish the fort of

Notorious

And to teach a lesson

the corrupted politicians.

Since political interference

OverJudiciary and executive is

Gradually killing

the glory democracy..

Humanity

Life is a struggle

There are tons of lessons to teach

And tons of experiences to share.

Our only strength is to stand up for existence

And we do, dream of tomorrow

All the sw eat pouring in today.

The landlord as a charity back to the dawn

We do not see the light of the letter

We do not know what else.

We are the lack of power of speech

We are the one

Who fell into the curse of God.

Hair to the Lord’s anger

We are struggling with heavy debts

Those we are indebted.

Are not indebted to the debt

We have fallen to this earth for sin

We yarn for shade.

And we the believers

Who lift the fingers

For those children who are hungry for food and knowledge.

Mother

I am your Mother ... and you are my Son.

In malice and envy you killed your brother,

in greed you have destroyed Me innumerable times

with aggression… from war to war.

With your greedy technologies you have poisoned

My soul, and Mine purity You have defiled,

you despise others passionately, as you love yours

selfishness… - you worship a golden calf.

208

international poetry antology

You blaspheme… - you do not exalt your Father and Mother.

Love and gratitude - they are unknown to you.

I tremble with fever, I regain my anger,

You and your children are suffer - the facts are sad.

For you do not know what loyalty is, and that life is a gift –

God’s will was sent down from heaven to earth.

You think ... I'm a bad Mother, because my body

is old... sick, which is furious at you.

You explore the Universe, with the living Mother, you call

on your Stepmother -

you sacrifice millions and millions of your brothers and

their children,

who die of starvation. You are an egocentric celebrating

your success -

Idolater/Pagan, who also manages the lives of children.

My son, you poison me for hundreds of years - and instead

of treating me,

You deny Me because you are egocentric. You don't know,

what is responsibility?

You have hurt both my heart and soul - you are an

egomaniac.

In recovery you hinder Me, because you are... a narcissistic

hypocrite, smug,

and conceited egoist.

209

midnight in the garden of peace

Confession

I regret …

because I was an egocentric grain of gold,

that spun only around its own axis,

- member of golden youth. My dad

the elite - And nobody was allowed to ask "Who are you".

I regret …

because I was an arrogant golden wire,

a noble ore of tycoon parents

- raw material, that African children...

with hunger, disease and death dug.

I regret …

because I was an prepotent product -

an article of interesting marital relations,

a product and yield of materialistic views

a brand of hubris and loftiness - full of pride.

I regret …

because I was an exploitee and an exploiter,

without love - just scattered golden dust,

210

international poetry antology

without empathy - a delusional and an infatuated creature,

without emotions - a zombie, a cyborg, a robot, a machine.

I regret …

and my heart at long last rises like Christ,

and I can see, that only Mother spins around her axis,

and my soul is finally illuminated by divine grace,

and my Holy Ghost is crying over the hungry African children

- when they ask me "Who are you".

The man and the light

The Light... it gifted the Man its own light,

it was the first gift, that walked Mother Nature,

divine Earth has embraced by its mercy...

creatures on land, in water and air, that searched for their home.

A selfish creature in the Sky was arrogant of his brother,

it wanted to become light brighter than the Light,

out of Sin was born Death - and the gates of Darkness were open,

A man against the Man, and he was no longer... in God's Mercy.

Too much blood was spilled in the history of Inhuman civilization,

let us rise above the wounded, crippled, ill and killed bodies,

let us rise above races, religions, cultures, politics and every nation,

there is only one Man, there is only one Light - human deeds are key.

211

Smug mammals

Gentlemen hypocrites, you are... smug mammals,

brats,... rascals... 200 000 years old only,

you imagine you are intelligent beings, o .., you drooling brats,

ostensibly in Homo sapiens, you evolved through the

course of evolution.

Gentlemen snobs, you are... arrogant invertebrates,

brats,... rascals... 200 000 year old only,

you think you are wise creatures, o you industrialists,

ostensibly for the good of man, you have carried out an

industrial revolution.

Gentlemen demagogues, you are ... insolent vertebrates,

brats,... rascals... 200 000 year old only,

you think and speak, you write and you work, o you as

vain pupils,

you do not respect parents, the elderly and the infirm -

rules of ethics.

Gentlemen primitives, you are... greedy and gruff

primates,

brats,... rascals... 200 000 years old only,

because in a few hundred years you managed to sell your

own Mother,

A Mother four and a half billion years old - because of

economic progress.

Love

Unconditional love -

and the Light was stronger than the Sun.

And Man was naked in his humanity,

like a baby in a mother's placenta,

a newborn bathed in holy water.

Conditional love -

and Man imagines himself to be the equivalent of

Unconditional Love.

And I found myself clothed in my solemn envy,…

like my brother in laziness ... and spiritual indifference ...

Loveless love -

and Man imagines that he is above Unconditional Love.

And your brother finds himself clothed in his noble arrogance,…

as well as his brother in a suitable suit of hatred and anger…

and their sister put on a scandalous gown of lust and passion...

And I see hordes of all kinds of uniforms marching:

solemn selfishness, covert greed, official lying, honorable

intemperance,….

With love -

(it's a critical moment)

that the People arm themselves… and the hordes disarm.
