Performing Arts Department L-R: Emily Heeney, BenEuden (HOD), Christine Lee, Alexander Upokokeu-Henry (front)PERFORMING ARTSSHOWCASE 2022This year we look forward to hosting our annualPerforming Arts Showcase at our very own MCAuditorium.We have a specialist staging company coming in totransform our Auditorium into a stunning theatrespace for our students who will be performing atthis exciting event. This year’s showcase will featuremusic, dance, and drama, and will be a reflectionof the creativity and vibrance of our talented youngperforming artists. The Showcase will be in Term2, Week 7, with shows on Wednesday 15th andThursday 16th June. Caylis Masinamua.Due to COVID restrictions, thelibrary was not able to open atlunchtime until Week 9.It is fantastic to be open againat lunchtime for our students.We have four new Librarians(top left) and there are otherswho are still training.We recently purchased theboard game Scrabble. Thereis a buzz in the library everymorning. I join in and later inthe morning another studenttakes my place. The students,and I, have a “brain tuning”every day.
