hızla devam etmektedir.
Poliya’nın çevreye olan duyarlılığı, geliştirdiği projelerde
de temel oluşturmaktadır. Kullanılan ham maddeden
ambalaja kadar, çevre bilinci ile hareket edilmektedir. Çevreyle
dost, kurşun ve ağır metal içermeyen ekoloji dostu
pigment serisinin tüm çalışmaları tamamlanmıştır. Karbon
ayak izini azaltmak üzere alternatif ham madde çalışmalarının
yanı sıra geri dönüşüm sistemleri kullanımına yönelik
Ar-Ge projelerinde de önemli adımlar kaydedilmiştir.
Poliya, atık ambalaj sarfiyatını düşürmek üzere 2012
yılında kullanımına başladığı “inliner”ın yanı sıra 2013’de
yeni ambalaj seçenekleri sunabilmek için altyapı hazırlığı
içerisindedir.
Innovative Steps At Poliya and The Change in Composite
Sector in Turkey
Poliya the 30 th anniversary of which we will celebrate
this year continues its operations in 25 countries across
the world with its Turkish production facility in Çerkezköy
and European production facility in Novaresine. Poliya
has made itself well known mostly for its Polygel High
Performance gel coat series besides its being the most
rapidly growing composite resin producer in Europe.
Furthermore, it develops and produces unsaturated
polyester resins, vinyl-ester resins, colorist pigment pastes,
solid surface particles, adhesive pastes, adhesive systems
and mould separating waxes.
We demonstrated a performance which was above the
world and Turkey composite figures in this period with an
increase of 62% in our total turnover and an increase of
38% in all of our operations. We increased our capacity
by 25% as of April 2012 thanks to the Italy production
operation which is the second leg of our sustainable
growth goal. Therefore, we have taken another important
step on our way to increase the speed of our supplies to
Europe.
As for the technological infrastructure investments,
we realized investments for liquid maleic utilization,
automation of solid loading line and a new reactor with
a capacity of 50MT in the year 2012. We increased the
speed and capacity of our production significantly with
these investments. We commissioned our safe packaging
system which does not compromise our product quality
again in 2012.
As a result of all these developments, we achieved an
increase by 70% domestically and 65% internationally in
the third quarter of 2012 when compared with the same
period of the previous year and we outperformed our
budget target for 2012 resulting in a complete success for
the year 2012.
