Resume: «The contribution of Eqrem Çabej's in the study of toponyms
created by the diminutive -th and -z suffixes. The ancient
suffixes of the Albanian language, the -th and the -z, in the diacritic
aspect, can be seen in a wide area, but through the years many of
them were lost, as were lost many of the Albanian sub dialects.
These suffixes have been used extensively in some areas and in a
low level in some others, depending on the Albanian province
using them, leaving their trace in toponymy, patronymics,
anthroponomy and lexicography».
