Every autumn after the grape harvest, distillation
process of raki takes place
throughout Greece and especially here, on
the island of Crete, which always turns
into a huge celebration among family,
friends and neighbours. Raki distillation is
one of the most ancient traditions which
still exists. The distillation of Raki is accompanied
with a variety of traditional, delicious
food and
“mezedes”(=fingerfood).Everyone enjoys
it.

are many greenhouses. Our region
is famous for the great production
of vegetables. People
here are mainly engaged
in greenhouse
agriculture and olives’
harvest . Farmers take
care that our products
are organic and safe
for the consumer.
