Leta 20<strong>07</strong> bo zaznamovala 100. obletnica<br />
rojstva skladatelja Marjana Kozine. Avtor<br />
kultnih skladb Bela krajina in Ilova gora ter<br />
opere Ekvinokcij je napisal tudi vrsto drugih,<br />
po krivici pozabljenih del. Orkester bo tokrat<br />
izvedel njegovo Plesno suito in očarljive Štiri<br />
kitajske miniature za visoki glas in orkester.<br />
Drugi del koncerta bo docela posvečen baletni<br />
glasbi Sergeja Prokofjeva: izvedena bosta<br />
splet priredb priljubljenih plesnih melodij iz<br />
oper Jevgenij Onjegin, Pikova dama in Boris<br />
Godunov ter suita po baletu Pepelka.<br />
The year 20<strong>07</strong> marks the hundredth anniversary<br />
of the birth of the composer Marjan Kozina. The<br />
author of the cult compositions Bela krajina and<br />
Ilova gora and the opera Ekvinokcij wrote also a<br />
number of other works which have been wrongly<br />
forgotten. The orchestra will this time perform<br />
his Dance suite and the charming Four Chinese<br />
miniatures for soprano and orchestra. The entire<br />
second part of the concert will be dedicated to the<br />
music of Sergey Prokofiev: a series of arrangements<br />
of popular dance melodies from the operas Eugene<br />
Onegin, the Queen of Spades and Boris Godunov,<br />
and the suite after the ballet Cinderella.<br />
