globalization. a. What exactly is globalization? b. What other issues besides low literacy rates affect quality of life? c.<br />
How do these issues relate to language and language education? d. What do you believe is the most pressing global<br />
issue? e. What does it mean to be a global citizen? Next, explore the information provided by the following educational<br />
websites about globalization: a. <strong>Global</strong>ization101 b. The <strong>Global</strong>ization Website In your discussion post, explain how your<br />
own experience and learning compares to the information you gained from your reading. Did the information reinforce<br />
your own ideas or conflict with them? Refer to your responses to the pre-reading questions. Guided Response: Read<br />
each of your classmates? posts and respond to at least three of your peers. Analyze how their awareness of cultural<br />
issues compares to your own. Consider their opinions of the most pressing global issue, and ask them to provide further<br />
evidence to support their choice if it differs from your own. Offer ideas concerning the correlation of language and<br />
language education and their impact on global issues. Ask your classmates questions and provide them with resources<br />
