According to the objects of our Trust Deed: 'Education and Medical relief, Relief to poor & needy and
Benefit to the public at large' and according to the significant term ‘BENGAL’ of our Trust’s title which
denotes: BE for Basic Education; NG for Nurturing Growth and AL for Advanced Learning, we have
initiated some activities so far as described below:
1. Monetary aid given to a poor child for her surgery.
2. Monetary aid given to a poor student towards her school fees.
3. Garments donated to ‘Vivekananda Shobha Jeevan Jyoti Kendra Orphanage’ Nalla Sopara,
Thane, Maharashtra.
4. Financial assistance given to the “All Community Poor Scholar Students’ Book Distribution
Project” at Dharavi, Mumbai.
5. Monetary donation given to the ‘Movement for Declassification of Secret files of Netaji Subhas
Chandra Bose’, initiated by ‘Netaji Subhas Ekta Manch—Mumbai, Navi Mumbai & Thane’.
6. Started three Free classes for All India Course of all community Bengali language teaching
under affiliation of the Madhya Mumbai Branch of ‘Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan
(All India Bengali Literary Conference, New Delhi, founded in 1922. So far we have Bengali,
Marathi & Mangalorian students in this all India course.
7. Started Free Coaching classes for teaching Rabindra Sangeet {Tagore Songs in Bengali,
Hindi & English (Marathi, Gujarati & Malayalam languages would be added soon)}; Vivek
Geeti (Songs of Swami Vivekananda) and other Devotional and Patriotic Songs.
8. Providing Free assistance to get shelter, money, manpower, consultation, transportation,
cremation etc. to the Cancer patients who come to the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai
from other places.
Since we believe on the proverb ‘Charity begins at home’, we, the Trustees are volunteering
our time, home-space, own money, labour etc. for the benefit of the mankind through
development of human resources and by direct assistance in emergent need of lives.

Therefore, we need more people to volunteer in these noble endeavour and monetary,
Governmental and non-Governmental support to make our nation a little more humanely liveable.
Charity may begin by a few individuals but sustains through mass efforts only.
