The <strong>UAE</strong> Jiu-Jitsu Team kept busy in the second<br />
semester of 20<strong>16</strong>. Besides all the competitions under<br />
the <strong>UAE</strong>JJF in the <strong>UAE</strong> and all around the world,<br />
the <strong>team</strong> also travelled to represent the country and<br />
the sport at three major events. First, on September<br />
26-27, in Danang, Vietnam, the <strong>team</strong> took part in the<br />
20<strong>16</strong> Asian Beach Games, then on November 24-28,<br />
in Wroclaw, Poland, tit was time for the 20<strong>16</strong> World<br />
Ju-Jitsu Championship, under the Ju-Jitsu International<br />
Federation (FIJJ). Less than a month later, the <strong>team</strong><br />
travelled to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, for the 1st Asian<br />
Ju-Jitsu Championship, under the Ju-Jitsu Asian Union.<br />
Following the technical direction of Professor Roberto<br />
“Gordo” Correa, the <strong>team</strong> had big results on the mats.<br />
