Barhi dates<br />
Barhi dates are fresh yellow dates, sold typically on branches in farmers markets. They are very seasonal and usually harvested around the<br />
months of August and September.<br />
This unique type of dates can be either consumed as a fresh date, where it is yellow, crunchy and semi-sweet or at an advanced stage of<br />
ripeness (Rutab) where it is soft, with thin brown crackling skin and an interior that tastes of delicious caramel. To get the caramel taste, place<br />
them in a freezer where they can be held for several months.<br />

بلح البَ رْ حي<br />
بلح البرحي هي فاكهة طازجة، وعادةً ما تُ باع على االغصان في أسواق الخضار والفواكه. هذا النوع من البلح موسمي و يتم قطفه بالعادة في شهر آب و أيلول .<br />
من الممكن استهاك هذا النوع الفريد من البلح إما طازج، حيثُ يكون مقرمش لونه اصفر و مذاقه شبه حلو، أو ناضج في مرحلة الرُّ طَ ب، حيث يكون طري وبني<br />
اللون وطعمه حلواً كطعم الكراميل اللذيذ. من أجل الحصول على طعم الكراميل، يوضع البلح األصفر داخل الفريزر حيث يمكن تخزينه لعدة اشهر.<br />

Barhi dates can be found in two stages:<br />

الوصف: فاكهة طازجة تسوَّ ق محلياً او تصدر على األغصان في عبوات كرتونية تزن 5 كغم.<br />
من الممكن إيجاد بلح البَ رْ حي على مرحلتين:<br />
• If picked at an early stage (Khalal date), they are semisweet, large, bright yellow in colour<br />
and crisp. Barhi dates are usually attached to branches (approx 10cm long with at least 5<br />
dates per branch). [Moisture: 50-85%]<br />
• If fully ripe they are small, round, brown and extremely sweet (Rutab). [Moisture: 30-45%]<br />
Palletization depends on the pallet height restrictions<br />
of the airline/freighter and the pallet height can range<br />
from 90cm -150cm.<br />
• إذا تم قطفه في طور مرحلة النمو المبكِّ ر )الخال(، يكون مقرمش و طعمه شبه حلواً و لونه أصفر. وعادةً ما يتم بيعه على األغصان )اذ يكون طول الغصن حوالي<br />
10 سم. مع 5 تمور على األقل في الغصن الواحد(. )الرطوبة: 50-85%(<br />
• مرحلة النضج الكامل،حيث يكون حجمه صغيراً ومستديراً و يكون بني اللون و حلوا )مرحلة “الرُّ طَ ب”(. )الرطوبة: 30-45%(<br />
يتراوح ارتفاع طبليات الشحن من 90سم - 150سم، و ذلك حسب<br />
قيود شركات النقل الجوي بما يخص ارتفاع الطبليات.<br />
