2. In Romans 12:5-8, Paul used 4 adjectives in expressing the proper serving
attitude. These attitudes can also help us to be the good stewards of the
various grace of God. List the 4 attitudes below:
Faith Pondering
In Romans 12:1,
Paul used “living
sacrifice” to describe
offering. In
the Old Testament,
many offerings
were dead. In the
New Testament,
God requires living
sacrifices, which
last forever. But
today, many
Brothers and Sisters’
offering are
not firm. Although
they have offered
themselves once,
they don’t serve God everyday. They offered themselves to God in the morning.
At night, they do what they want. They offered themselves to God last month.
Today, they refuse to serve God. This kind of offering is not “living sacrifices”
and is not pleasing God.
Besides, the revival of church depends on every Christian who obey their gifts
given by God and become the good steward of the various grace of God. God
doesn’t create any useless things. God must use you. We need to prepare for
the eternal reward: As good stewards of God, with one mind, committed to
the great commandment (love God & others) and the great commission (share
the gospel).
Today who is willing to completely offer ourselves to God, serve Him and glorify
Him for the rest of our lives?
Please pray and respond to God.
