about who were nominated for National <strong>Teach</strong>er of the Year, and write a<br />
first-person narrative of 250-500 words explaining why you want to teach.<br />
Cite three to five teachers from the CCSSO: National <strong>Teach</strong>er<br />
of the Year in your narrative. Consider the following criteria in your<br />
narrative:<br />
1. <strong>Why</strong> do you want to be a teacher?<br />
2. What/who inspired you to teach?<br />
3. What grade level do you want to teach? <strong>Why</strong>?<br />
4. What characteristics, experiences, or skills do you possess that make you suited for teaching?<br />
