Israel travel tips

Security:
In Jerusalem, based on our and lot of
travelers’ personal experience, was
quite safe. We often saw quite few soldiers
walking around with guns.
In Bethlehem, We had a bad experience
but we also met few very friendly
people there. Remember DON’T
TRUST the taxi driver there.
Immigration:
They will distribute the entry permit
card and exit permit card for you
each way. There is NO STAMP will
be placed on
your passport. So
just no need to
worry about it.
Cost:
We both think the
expenses there is quite
similar to Hong Kong.
However, some fruit
are cheap.
Strawberries cost
around USD2
and got 0.5kg.
Very cheap and sweet though!
Dead Sea:
If you are going to the Dead Sea,
please DO make sure you don’t
have any wounds and remember to
bring your sandals with you cos
there were many rocks on the bottom
of the sea and it hurts!!
Failure to do it will make you feel
very painful because of the salt in the
sea!
Transport:
Bus: Due to language barrier,
you may speak LOUDER while
asking information with the bus
driver so the people around who
speaks good English may be able
to help you.
Light rail: The light rail run
through the city of Jerusalem, very
user-friendly.
Apps: The apps Moovit works
quite well in Israel. Even the local
are using this apps. Highly
recommend any
one go to Israel
to use it .
Climate:
It is pretty dry in Jerusalem. You
are suggested to bring moisturizing
mask and cream to protect
your skin.
