Inglewood is changing right in front of our eyes.
We’ve known about NFL teams LA Rams and LA
Charges coming to the new stadium, but now
possibly the Los Angeles Clippers?
In a city that is only nine sqaure miles, it is destined
to become one of the largest entertainment capitals in
the world. With those plans in the works, Downtown
Inglewood is on the plate for a major renovation. At
the moment, it is home to bargain stores, swapmeets,
neighborhood dives and other small shops and
boutiques. But with an estimated 2 to 5 billion dollars of redevelopments happening
throughout the city, Market Street is primed for a new facelift, which brings us to the
Miracle Theater.
This entertainment venue, located in the heart of downtown Inglewood, will be the
focal point for concerts, plays, comedy shows, movies and much more. Owners Mariana
and Owen Smith have a vision for the MIracle that is quickly coming to fruision. They
work closely with the Inglewood Community to help bring Market Street back to its’
prominence. They’ve hosted city town hall meetings, business meet and greets and
other events to bring local Inglewood businesses together. The Miracle Theater
will definately be the spot to go to in the near future. We can’t wait to see what
happens next.
