telecommunications industry in Namibia.<br />
CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER<br />
The candidate will report to the Managing Director<br />
The Chief Technical Officer is sought to:<br />
• Identify and exploit new information and communication technologies<br />
• Build out and leverage existing network and IT infrastructure<br />
• Drive company technology strategy as a business enabler<br />
• Enhance Executive Committee and Shareholders relationships<br />
• Enhance customer relationships<br />
• Manage and direct Technology team<br />
• Oversee all facets of network operations including telephony service and support<br />
infrastructures for billing, CRM, etc.<br />
• Manage and direct the IT department<br />
• Manage and direct the Radio and Transmission departments<br />
• Manage and direct network operations and technology projects<br />
Experience & skills required:<br />
• At least 10 years relevant telecommunications experience in similar roles, preferably<br />
in Europe and Africa<br />
• Relevant experience in executive management<br />
• Analytical, strategic and strong financial and negotiation skills<br />
Academic Qualifications:<br />
• MBA or relevant degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication<br />
engineering or similar<br />
